Just to set the record strait both of the other reviews are correct. If you download the the patch you will need the CD's to play it. Like i did on my first try. However there are stand alone version of this game that do not need Quake 2 in order to install and play. Like i am currently running it now. no CDS, i dont even own Quake 2
all versions of this game i found were on file planet. Yes it kinda of cool however cheesy at the same time. To find the files on File planet I search on google and found some sites that support this game.
Conclusion:
ITs cool for a freeby a newer better engine should be modded rather than this old game engine that probly is before the days of direct x and probaly just uses open GL to run it!
Im not saying this is the case just looks that way to me.
U HAVE TO HAVE cs, to play it, , i prefer steam though. IS UBER REAL, when u find good players, and the dude above dont know wat he is talkin about. THERE ARE ATLEAST 20 SEREVRS ITH PEOPLE IN T, take that back, 30+!
