Hm...perhaps a Freak or Multi Switch, a little better reg, but otherwise, this 'gun is tourney ready.
Oh God, where to begin...
First off, if you've never shot one of these gassed up, you should be ashamed...well, not really ASHAMED, but jealous of those who have. :) This marker has a pull to DIE for! The one I tested didn't even have a roller sear, but yet it felt like cutting butter with a hot knife...it's incredible. Second off, I hear customer support is great, as well. It's got a great looking anodizing scheme, and it's very smooth looking and refined. Hrm, what else, uh, it's nicely tuned and timed out of the box.
Well, to start off, it's wayyyy too expensive. Second, there's no milling, so it looks a bit plain (but that's just my opinion). That's about it, though, but for what you get, the price is way too expensive.
It's a nice 'gun, but for the price, I'd rather have an Evo-X in my hands...just my $.02 though...
O.K., I'm kinda new to 'Cockers, but I traded an Angel LCD for one of these and kept my Defiant, so bear with me on this review. Customer service I found to be excellent from Bullseye, and they are easy to talk to on the phone, and will call you back every time. On to the gun, the anodizing looks much better up close, with a very nice finish that is uniform and thick. You can order your trigger the way you like it, mine came very light, to spite this the trigger pull is still very good, and does not add to any short-stroking. The gun cycles smoothly and everything was very well assembled and polished, very good considering I received mine second hand. I was told to keep input pressure to around 350psi, and the gun works well at this setting. It is easy to shoot the gun quickly, and the trigger is the sweetest 'Cocker trigger, custom or otherwise, I've ever shot. Bullseye doesn't add unnecessary parts, they even keep the stock bolt and polish it well. The gun is very accurate with the Lapco barrel, and shot to shot consistancy is excellent.
The price is on the highest end of the typical Custom 'Cocker scale, and doesn't even include any milling. I'm still not completely sold on the anodizing job, but others are available on request.
It performs very well "stock" being a full on custom 'Cocker. I think the price should be lower than it is, but the work they do to it is very good, and most of it is internal polishing and the like, making for hidden costs. I believe it compares favorably to other custom 'Cockers in it's price range, with the exception of the lack of milling. I would have no problem reccommending it to someone, or purchasing one new.
