Don't Let the price fool you. This barrel was bored out of a solid peaice of alluminum and micro honed right here in the USA. The Era Entity is a great barrel, offering solid accuracy, fresh design and a price that can't be beat.

Finish: Black Powder
Product Availability
The Era Paintball Entity Barrel is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

I use scorch because im cheap, but i did use some evil paint one day and i broke a lot, and im not sure if thats because of the bore, my bolt, or what, but i broke alot.
Strengths: Accurate
Looks cool
Weaknesses: None really
Review: Its a good barrel, if u have the money, buy a freak, but i didnt so i bought this, it had good reviews and i figured why not try it out. I took it out and its definatly accurate and it looks cool on my gun. Its alot quieter than my old stock barrel
Conclusion: Like I said if u have the money, buy a better barrel, but if ur on a budget this is the way to go.

Review: This is a relatively new product I was able to buy off ebay at a very low price. I was looking for something inexpensive to use with my semi-auto R6 that was suited more for woods play as opposed to speed ball. The flat black powder coating will work great for making it harder for my opponents to see me when hiding in the brush. I tested it on my Eforce R6 for about 50 rounds and on my semi-auto R6 for about 50 more rounds. After test shooting the 100 rounds this barrel seems every bit as quiet as either of our SP barrels. The accuracy was more consistent than our SP barrels, especially on my semi-auto R6 operating in the 300-400 psi range. Once they get out over 100 feet, shots from our SP barrels have a tendency to curve one way for 3 or 4 shots and then another way for 3 or 4 shots. Almost all the shots from this barrel reacted pretty much the same way which will make those long distance shots a lot more consistent. My Eforce R6 stuttered one time during the test shots and chopped a ball. As expected, the accuracy was lousy after that, but the barrel cleaned up easily and continued shooting well. I worry about performance more so than looks. This barrel is pretty basic cosmetically so, to me, it looks good on my R6 markers. It does have some flat spots milled onto the marker half of the barrel. Since I like to shoot like I'm shootng a rifle it works well for me, providing a nice grip to hold on to..
Conclusion: Judging from the test shots I believe this barrel will do everything I would expect it to and more. Now my son wants me to buy him one.

Review: Im the first one to write a review on this barrel, but, here it goes:
STRENGTHS
I got this barrel for like 30$ at adrenaline paintball, so I thought that this would be an average barrel.
Well, I did some testing with this barrel against 32 degrees whisper and quiet riot barrels. The era shot better than both of them when I shot rapid fire, slow fire, and velocity cranked up. It was quieter than both of them as well. The era looks so sweet I loved how it looked right outta the box.
WEAKNESSES
Although it shot more accurate and quieter than the other barrels I tested, you gotta remember that this barrel cost 30 bucks, and I havent tested it with any really high quality barrel.
!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!
ok, ive had this thing for a long time now and its really proved its worth. this barrel has gone through rain, snow, and heat, and its performed perfectly. i just tested the entity against some expensive barrels including: freak, boomstick, hammerhead, and apex. it outperformed the hammerhead and apex by a ton, and was a little less accurate than boomstick, but equal with freak. as for quietness it was quieter than all of the other barrels. for consistency, the hammerhead, apex, and freak fell prey to the entity, but the boomy was more consistent (entity at 100 ft: 9 for 10 on a 12x12" board; boomy: 10 for 10) well, it is a lot less expensive than all the other barrels, so my choice still remains the entity. rock on, era!
Conclusion: Excellent barrel overall, really love it!
I highly reccomend this barrel to anyone who wants a good quality cheap priced barrel
Oh yea, if you get this barrel, you'll prolly be the only one out on the field with this barrel...
which is a good thing
