Tippmann Squadbusters, better than these, and Atomic Ordnance Big Boys, better than these.
Marker Setup:
'95 Automag, bone stock, '03 Autococker, bone stock
Strengths:
Small to fit three in a 140 round pod.
Weaknesses:
50-75% pre-mature failure rate. Fill is not thick.
Review:
These are a good idea for someone wanting an occasional grenade in a convenient storage place. These babys fit 3 in a 140rd pod perfectly. However, in my opinion, that is where their convenience ends.
These are a black rubber tube with one end glued shut. The other end has a BB, much like the Tippmanns, and also a strong white plastic clip that pinches the tube and the BB.
EDIT START EDIT 8-23-06 My team and I ordered the scenario pack from Atomic Ordnance. We were pleased with all products except for these pod rockets. We had 5 packs of these rockets, 3 to each pack. I'd say most of my team had a 50-75% failure rate with the rockets. They simply went off in our hands before we could throw them right after pulling the white tab. A few times we took out other teammates as well near us in addition to ourselves. I was quite annoying and embarrassing. We will never order the pod rockets again!
That being said, the owner of Atomic Ordnance did replace all my grenades when I called him. He also said they were re-working the pod rocket, which means they are concerened about the performance of their products and improving them. GREAT guy and company.)EDIT END EDIT
Personally I feel these grenades have too much pressure behind them that they will go off before they are thrown. The fill is thinner too, I much prefer the Tippmann fill. (see my Big Boy grenade review for more on this)
I would rather have one Tippmann Squadbuster or an Atomic Big Boy than three of these pod rockets.
Conclusion:
The Pod Rockets ARE NOT worth your money.

Strengths:
-Easy to carry
-Always Work

Weaknesses:

Review:
These arent bad grenades as the work all the time, but they are too light weight. The first time I went to throw one it got blown away in a gust of wind. The second attempt worked fine at a very close range to another bunker. You can fit 3 in a 140 round pod easily. Also now the grenades are coming without pins but a blue plastic saftey clip instead. With this new addtion you must pinch the neck before removing the clip.
Conclusion:
All-in-all these are good grenades, just not for long distance throws.

The Atomic ordnance Pod rockets are awesome. They have a huge marking radius, U can fit 3 in a 140 pod, very bright paint . When i was at my friends house, i threw one of these, and there was snow on the ground and it was like 20* outside, threw it, BAM it went off, there was green paint everywhere. Man these things are insanely awesome i can't get over how well the worked. This has a better marking radius than the squad buster and is a lot cooler. I'm going to buy these for now on, they totaly kill the squad buster in every way.
Conclusion:
BUY BUY BUY BUY these gernades are awesome!

These grenades, for their size, rock! Not only do they spray paint really far every time, but you can stick 3 of them in one of your 140 round pods. They are relatively cheap, considering you buy them in packs of three.
I went out to play some woodsball with my friends, and 2 of them were behind a huge tree, so I took one out to get ready to throw it, and kept it in my left hand in between the grip on my Tippmann. Just as I was about to throw it, they peeked out from behind the tree and we went back and forth for about 3 minutes before I decided that enough is enough. So, I looked down at my hand, and to my surprise, I saw that I was apparently squeezing it to hard, so some of the paint was leeking out. So I just went and threw it. Even with a lot of the paint leaking out in my hand, it still spun really well, and chucked a ton of paint. Even though they are smaller and less expensive than the Squad Busters, they are WAY better.
Conclusion:
BUY!!! If you woodsball, these are something that must be a part of your arsenal.
