Purchased this new for $27.50 from a store going out of business (cheaper than lots of aftermarket bolts). Looks exactly like the one in the picture above, which I think looks nicer than the newer Orange bolt (white).
Nice that it has a detent slot unlike other bolts. Very light and the only resistance felt is due to the orings.
Nice product, but don't pay full price unless you are trying to buy the "best looking" bolt.
Conclusion:
Don't pay full price when you could get a SLIK, but if it is used or found for cheap, go for it. This is the nicest looking bolt I have ever seen.
Light
High Quality
O-rings
Delrin pullpin
Back looks sick
Weaknesses:
Price? Mine came on an orracle.
Review:
I almost traded my freak factory impulse for an up'd orracle cocker which had this bolt. I got the cocker, and the owner backed out, so i only had it for a few days which is why i say olny tested. Anyway, this bolt blew me away. Its delrin and carbon fiber, super lite. The o-rings make a great seal too, and the orange jewel and back design make it look sick in any marker. The only real downside is price, but i didnt pay for mine, so i cant complain.
Conclusion:
Buy it if you have an e-cocker, otherwise you dont need the lightest cocking mass possible.
04 prostock ~black~ ,ccm carbon graphite barrel kit ,orange hardliner bolt , blue e2, blue nexus ram w/qevs, cp reg and on/off, tickler lpr, shoctech mini drop,05 macdev legion air
Strengths:
Light, seems to be tough, looks sweet and is pretty rare.
Weaknesses:
Price
Review:
I first got this bolt when my gun was in pieces, now i got the gun in my setup, i tried the bolt this weekend with my e2 and wow did it perform, when i first got it out of the package i was amazed how it looked, it doesnt look like the pic at the top of the page, the new ones are white with silver carbon fiber, they look very cool, performed great but i didnt yet have my eyes installed so i would chop pretty often but that wasnt the bolts fault, a+ item.
Conclusion:
Worth it if you have the money, id take it over a dart you should too, i got it for my bday so price isnt gonna be rated or it would be a 9
One of my friends just sold his cocker that he bought the bolt for and he let me use his bolt during a tournament in January of this year. As soon as I put the bolt in I could tell that it was cycling faster due to its light weight. It was less work for my ram which was the stock ram at that time it increased at least one or two BPS which I definently liked. THe downside is that it is a little on the pricey side which has been the big deturrent for me buying one. I could think of other things that I could buy with that money that would make it alot faster (i.e MP-4 ram) but I do like it and if i had the money to spend on it I probably would.
Conclusion:
It is a very nice bolt however it is very expensive for a bolt. But if you have the money by all means go ahead and get it. rated strictly on Performance I would give it a 10 but cost wise I would give it an 8 sooo......
