These barrels are an excellent alternative to the smart parts barrels when using freak inserts. They shoot every bit as well and cost half the price of a full sized freak barrel.
I have both a freak & a justice for my cocker & sniper II. Typically it doesn't matter which barrel I'm using because they fire the same and it's gotten to the point where I use the justice for one reason. It's a one piece. Any cocker owner will know what I mean. Frequently with two piece barrels like the freak, when you're unscrewing them the front will come unscrewed from the back and then you'll be stuck with the back still on the marker. It's then next to impossible to get the proper leverage to remove the back without taking the pneumatics completely off. Obviously being a one piece barrel the Justice doesn't have that problem.
***UPDATE 7/19/06*** While I still love my Justice Barrel after having a particularly bad batch of paint that was breaking a lot (not the barrel or the freak inserts fault) I've found a problem with it that I didn't mention in my original review. When squeegeeing a broken ball, paint tends to get stuck in the large three holes at the end of the barrel & missed by the squeegee. The holes are so large that a lot of paint can get stuck in there. I've had problems with squeegeeing then having to squeegee again shortly afterwards because of the paint I missed in the front porting seeping back into the barrel. Is this enough of a problem that I'd not reccomend it? No, not at at all. Just something I think everyone should be aware of (and I'm subsequently knocking it's rating from a 9 to an 8).
Conclusion:
Every bit as good as a Freak and 1/2 the price. I'd buy another Justice barrel before I'd drop money on another SP front & back.

Review:
Used barrel for testing one night through 5 games. I do not have eyes on my Spyder so I expected some chops to happen. I chose the correct paint to bore match with my Freak inserts and went to the chrono. The barrel shot very accurate when clean at a distance of 20 feet. I then proceeded to go out on the field and play some games. The barrel shot accurately the whole game. I ran a few strings of paint out real fast to get the gun to chop and see how the barrel reacted to the paint gooped up in the barrel. The first couple of balls winged of to the sides then the accuracy returned after the barrel cleaned out. Well I thought the barrel shot clean, but after checking at the end of the 5 games I noticed there was a considerable amount of paint still in the barrel. I was surprised by it, because the accuracy was the same as when the barrel was clean.
Conclusion:
The only recommendation I have for this product is to get the Stainless Steel Freak inserts because they are stronger than the aluminum ones.
