Just purchased and received the turbopaintball hopper/loader. Actually, had to send 1st one back b/c it was split apart. Anyhow, got the 2nd one and installed like the directions showed. Directions were good, easy to follow. Besides, the website has a good video demo on both Tippman and Spyder. It worked for the first 40 to 50 rounds. Then I lost power/pressure. After examining the setup, I noticed that the body of the Xtra is rounded where the valve pin enters and b/c of this, it does not sit flush. There is approx. a 1/8" gap or less b/w the body and valve pin seating properly. When I fired the gun w/out the hopper and line attached, I notice CO2 out both sides > the side it is supposed to go BUT the other side as well and I don't think it is supposed to do that? When I re-installed the original pin, the gun works fine, no power loss.
Conclusion:
I think they have a good product design, but they need to double check their applications as the bodies of the Spyders do vary. I've asked (today) for a longer pin so I don't have a result to report on yet. If no fix is available, I'll ask for a refund.

I was a little scepticle, and thought that it was super ugly. However, when I thought it over, I decided I'd give it a chance anyways, becuase I don't play much, and can't shoot extremly fast - I thought it would be a good purchase. So I bought it.
Then 2 weeks later, it finnaly arrived. I opend it up, and hte shell casing was nearly falling off, so I had to tighten the screws. Also, The instructions were impossible to read (really bad printer and really small writing), but luckily it was a simple intalation. The feedneck was really small, and didnt fit into my feedneck verywell - this is tippy 98 too. Anyways, the thing was as ugly as anything (not a weekness, you could tell from the photos).
The next day I went to the field to play a game. I was using comp air, and brand new ProStar paint. I opend it up and noticed that the lid didn't have a spring, and that it didn't close very tightly... I was bigging to get ticked. Then, when i dry fired, I noticed that the lip didn't move anything close to how it did in the vid on the TruboLoader website. I thought it might be the RT for some reason, so I disabled it (so all the air went to the loader). Still, practically nothing.
I figured i might as well try it out, and so I loaded it up, making sure not to go passed the fill line. Out on the field, the thing was worse then a gravity feed. It chopped balls, and gave dry fires like crazy. I constatly was cleaning out the gun, and it never got better.
Conclusion:
If you are a noob, and only play never times a month, buy it. Otherwise, pay the extra 2 bucks for batteries now and then for a good loader.
Im giving it a 5 because it sucked, but it wasnt the optimal weather conditions (cold), and mine might have just been bad.
