Im using the stock 8.5" barrel and I haven't tested any other barrels
Bright color (yellow)
Break on impact
Doesn't break in barrel
Some paintballs has dimples on them
They smell :)
Some shots are inconsistent
These were the first paintballs I got and so far I am happy with them. They break on impact and they are hard enough so that they don't break in your barrel. (I've gone through 1000 paintballs and no breaks) The shell is purple and the fill is yellow. This can come in handy if you want to see where you shot.
My final thoughts on these products is that they are good paintballs for practicing or for playing around with your friends. They shoot straight and don't bounce. If your on a budget, I would recommend these paintballs.
RPS/PMI paint - superior
Wild Streak - BOOOOO
DBX - seemed good for the price
Archon Voodoo - higher quality
Draxxus Blaze - Good paint
A-5, Lapco BigShot 8", E-Grip, OPSGEAR UMP kit
It doesn't really matter seeing as the ball is so inconsistantly shaped from specimen to specimen.
Price, Fill is fairly thick
Horribly inconsistant, rubbery shell, bad seams
Well I started using the Revolts last year (05) during pick-up woodsball games, and I have to say, the paint is not really THAT bad for someone who might want to get himself and 3 other friends together for a Saturday game. As stated above the only true advantage to these paintballs is the price. I've regularly found them for under $30 US for a case of 2000. So, in terms of price, you cant beat it. Now, as for the opportunity cost of running this paint...well, you'll basicly be handicapping yourself by running Revolts - chances are you'll need to get within 50 feet for a kill, because these balls wing all over the place. The inaccuracy must be due to, I belive, the horrible "shell" on the paintballs. I say "shell" because, in my experience, the word "shell" tends to indicate a hard brittle surface - which is exactly the opposite of what your Archon Revolts will feel like. OK, sarcasm aside, the shells on these balls are the softest Ive ever seen. The last weakness I'll mention is that the seams are really bad, some look like they are just barely joined together and others have the seam up near the top of the ball rather than in the middle (Picture the top part of a pumpkin you cut out to make a jack-o-lantern).
While the price of the Archon Revolts makes them very affordable, the quality may be low enough (depending on your personal preference) to deter anyone who is more than a recreational player from buying them. I will say, for those quick Saturday pick-up games, Revolts can be appealing, But you're probably better off heading to Wal-Mart and picking up some BigBall for 40 bucks a case.

Fairly cheap, But spend the extra dollar and get good paint.
If your short on money this stuff may be okay. but if you are lookin for the good shootin tourny level paint from archon, stick too proball or powerball. I havent tested Cryptic or Voodoo yet, but when i do i will post an edit on here and a seperate review on those paintball as well.
archon has some FAIR paint. but this kind is not for the tournament player.
Icon E, Empire Reloader II, Dead-on X-core 8-stage expansion chamber, 16"J&J Ceramic Barrel, t-board, break beam eyes, the list goes on and on.
Break for no reason. explain below.
I used these 1 gameday, and they would break as soon as they dropped in the chamber. I spent 3 hours teching on my gun until i realized the next day it was the bloody paintballs!. The shells are brittle.
They are at least accurate when you are actually able to shoot them. But they shread in the barrel alot.
Well, it was my fault for buying them, you get what you pay for.
Save yourself a mega-headache and just buy Scortch at walmart. Its quite superior.
