Review:
Iv'e been using this barrel on my 98 custom since march of this year. The one thing i got out of it was accuracy which was hoped for. This product has to be one of the best barrels for a long effective range. It is flawless. And I think it looks very nice inspite of being made from tippmann. Not flaming tippmann but their products aren;'t good looking. Whateveer paintball isn't about looks though.
Conclusion:
Tippmann did the best job on this barrel possible. Please buy this you will not be unsatisfied. If I could put one of these on all of my guns I would. This product really deserves a 10 it is ball on ball shoooting, I LOVE THIS PORDUCT.
The barrel is all out good get it you will love it trust me i give it a 10 out of 10 that is how good it is my brother brought one for about $30 at a sporting good store in our area don't have one get one today you will love it trust me it is great

Review:
this barrel has saved my butt in some very tight and close matches. Just the pass weekend, i went paintballing at a local field, and one the first game, right at the start i hit a player across the field right in the chest. it was at least from 35 yards, and i was stunned. i used to have the old stock barrel for the tippmann 98, and it was alright, but i was curved balls and was limited to how far i could shoot. The pathfinder is a great barrel for woods and speed ball, i have not used it yet on a speed ball field, but from other players who have the barrel, say it works great. out of the whole day, i only broke balls due to damage paintballs. i was winning shoot outs, due to my new barrel. i could sit back or run up the field and still hit players. anyone looking for a good upgrade barrel for a tippmann 98 custom, without paying a lot of money, buy this barrel. it well not be a waste of money.
Conclusion:
This barrel is great, it shoots far, and doesn't not curve, you will win many games with this barrel
I origionally got this barrel with my 98c violator package. I've only used one different barrel (16" tippmann werks) when my gun was in the shop and I borrowed a friend's gun. The werks did out perform the pathfinder, but i was surprised at how little a difference it made. The worst thing about the gun is that it's not a self cleaning barrel, so I do have to spend some squegee time with it. In all the time I've had it, it has only had 2 paintballs blow in the barrel, most of the time i'm only cleaning the barrel because splatter got in it.
Conclusion:
It's a great barrel for a great price. If you're on a tight budget this is definately the way to go.

Accuracy, ease of cleaning, and price
Weaknesses:
Looks and bad accuracy with high velocity
Review:
This is a good barrel for someone who isn't a tournament player and just plays in a yard. It has a very accurate shot up to about 75 ft. Just be sure to turn your velocity down from what it was at with the stock barrel. Also it doesn't have a lot of ports so its easy to clean, unlike the 32 degrees whisper barrel. Also since its made by tippmann you know its made to the highest standard.
I got this barrel after a guy at the local Paintball store told me about it, 40 bucks, and it was a good looking barrel, with above average accuracy. I love thisd barrel, and I doubt I will use anything other than it. its close to the Lapco bigshot barrel, because its a good strong, accurate barrel.
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a good barrel, for not a whole lot of money, then this is the barrel for you. Its pretty accurate, and it looks pretty good on the gun.

Review:
I got this barrel at the tippmann truck at last years nppl event for the low price of $25! while i really had my heart on getting the 16 inch tippmann sniper i saw this as a 'baby sniper barrel' and it was recommended to me by the lady behind the counter. while some kid told me i should have gotten a 'freak barrel kit' instead,im glad that this was my choice. the first time i used this barrel i played woods ball with it which isn't my style of play i prefer speed ball and im not a good woods ball player either. the barrel did well and i recall no breaks that day..the distance and accuracy was decent while the paint i used was too brittle to make past the twigs and stray leaves on trees. the next week i played speed ball and found my new purchase to do really well with my comp air tank that it shoots probably as straight as some 60 to 100 dollar barrels..at times id do my lob shots and this barrel is a lobber. i did shop a few times and i had to really squeegee my barrel out good to get the accuracy back as this one isn't a self cleaner. it'll help you arc those shots right over onto the heads and masks of your opponent as i was able to this last month shooting out a player out in the back right can on his forehead and mask. if you are on a budget and love your tippmann, get this barrel that is truly worth the 25 to 30 dollars you'll pay for it.
Conclusion:
This barrel is a great value for the money. Its not picky on paint although dont chop and then try shooting it will give you major curves and little straight shots. Ballers on a budget save your money and try this barrel. A good barrel doesnt have to cost more than 60 dollars. Tippmann fanatics get this!
