Review:
This is an ok book. This is the first paintball book i have read, so i don't have much to compare to. To start off, this book has fair info. I probably should have read this before i started playing paintball, if i did, i could have givin this a better review. I have been playing for about a year now, and this wasnt anything new to me.
Conclusion:
Ok book.
Rating:
7 out of 10

I bought this book, and I thought it'd give me some cool stuff. I started reading it and it was saying stuff that I already knew about paintball. Stuff like "...never shoot a teammate." and "...always wear a barrel plug/condom." This book is made for someone who doesn't know what the hell paintball is!
If your new, buy it.
If you've played, don't buy it!
Had crap i still have no idea what its talking about and its old
Review:
Not a bad book if your just begiing
it explans what to do and what not to do
i helped my game alot but for ppl who have been playing a while it wont help much
it has some great ideas for games to play other then ctf and elimintion
Conclusion:
Not bad for beginers and worth it if you need help
The chapter on barrels and their specifics, and the different listings of games that can be played.
Weaknesses:
This book is terrible. It tells you nothing but what you already know from normal human commen sense. "Don't stand up when someone is shooting at you, don't shoot yourself, try not to get hit"
Green PMI Piranha Pro TS, 16" Smart Parts Teardrop barrel, 12v revolution hopper, 48 ci/3000 PSI Pure Energy compressed air tank.
Strengths:
It covers a lot of different aspects on Paintball. Gives you many good tips on everything including how to play in general to... how to start a team. Very complete and it does help you with your skills. Very good book on paintball.
Weaknesses:
The only thing bad about it is that in the first half of the book it gives tips to ppl that have never played paintball before.
Conclusion:
It covers basically everything you need to know about paintball. it covers the history of paintball. Some pretty cool pictures. And very detailed. If u have the extra $20 or $30 to spend then i suggest either to get this one or The Complete Guide To Paintball.
This book covers every aspect of paintball, even a lot you don't really think about. It's made by the APG crew, but has few spelling mistakes. It's also unbiased and full of good suggestions.
Weaknesses:
The one I got is called, "The Ultimate Guide To Paintball" (?) and cost me 30 dollars Canadian :(
Some aspects are completely Newbie and the first few chapters seem to be made for people who have never previously played paintball, and probably shouldn't shell out lots of money for a book on it.
Conclusion:
A really good book for the entry-level player, but remidial for anyone with a few games under their belts. I still give it 10, because this is the most complete book I've ever seen written on the sport of Paintball.
