Marker Setup: Proto Matrix Rail UPS: 14" ul barrel, UL frame, NDZ feedneck, CP on/off, Violent Scythe trigger, Tadao yakuza OLED board. NDZ backcap alluminum
Strengths: Very fast 42bps average weight same as halos/empires low profile
Weaknesses: Battery door screw strips easy. shell cracks on the neck easily.
Review: i think the pulse is a good hopper and the only problem with it is that Draxxus is being sued and cant fix the fualty neck part. its very fast but i would like it to be a little lighter. im just a guy who likes things really light. im not a wuss just think its more comfortable. overall i think its a good hopper and possibly the best except that the makers of it have come out with the torque which is really light and goes 30BPS easier to clean and not as expensive. its not made by the same company but the design of it and the pulse and the halo were all thought of by the Spurlock brothers done believe me look it up. so id say its one of the best hoppers in the world though its brother the torque may be taken the lead if not for the shells mouth though theyve came out with a widemouth shell.
Conclusion: my final thought is that this is a very good product and if you can shoot it it can feed it. like i said 42 bps keeps up with your egos its the fastest hopper in the world but since you cant shoot over 15bps in tournys and if you do in rec ball your wasting paint you could easily go with a Vlocity or torque but the Vlocity uses insane batterys i mean god it really uses them up so i recommend it but also id recommend looking at the torque. just want you to make the best decsion

Review: I have had this loader for a year now and I will sum up the pros and cons in bullet list format:
PROS
- Very fast feed rate, it is consistent and timely. Will keep up with your shooting habits.
- The little perks like a removeable feed tray and reverse button are both innovative and helpful. The feed tray presents issues of its own (see cons) but the fact that it can be removed is a serious plus.
- Customer service is quick and responsive. They have taken care of any issues I have had regarding the integrity of the product. They have replaced the shell, magnet and stickers for me without question and in a timely manner. I am very pleased with their support and that is a huge plus in a competitive industry like paintball.
- The ability to R/F synch your marker is great innovation. There are limits to this though (see cons)
- Overall a step-up from the traditional Halo-B.
- People say it is ugly but to me I see it as the Halo with a more technologically advanced look. Its low profile is also a big plus and really puts the loader on top of the marker not just over it. Reduced profile helps minimize loader hits from the top. A minimal reduction but any helps.

CONS
- The first con I ever noticed was that this loader eats batteries. I noticed this especially when using Pulse mode (less efficient use of the loader than R/F). I would get a little over 2 days of battery usage tops. That puts the VLocity in a better position in this category.
- Pulse mode is not entirely a con but it does cause the loader to twitch with a subtle sound of the motor as well and it takes getting used to, plus the twitching eats into the battery life. R/F synch to alleviate this issue.
- After consistent usage I noticed three things happen within a very short time span of each other: The plastic housing the lid hinge nearly cracked off exposing the spring inside (superglued it to stop the crack), both of the plastic tabs that lock-in the stubborn-to-remove feed tray cracked severely and one fell off. This is not the worse thing since the feed tray is so hard to remove anyway that the plastic tabs did very little in terms of securing it. Basically, the shell is not as strong as people may think and the magnet on the lid is virtually useless.
- The R/F technology here is a great introduction but the chip is quite large and can be difficult to fit into grip frames. The need to solder seems draconian and aftermarket harnesses help here. The price of the chip is high. If the chip could be included and smaller it would be more practical and the harness should be included as well since it is very useful and helps keep you from voiding any warranties by soldering onto the marker's board. Also the R/F has issues with certain markers (especially their stock boards) ie Angel. I should know I have an ANgel and cannot use it. I will not replace the stock Angel board just to use the R/F...I like it!
Conclusion: In the end the great customer service helped me give this loader a solid 8. I see where this loader is going and I like it but it is only the first step of many and it is a learning process for the manufacturer and users. I like it over the Halo and the VLocity( the VLocity only beats it in lower weight and better battery life). But now with the Magna Loader from Empire it appears the next step is here. En toto, the Pulse is a fun, effective, and innovative loader for all of the techies out there.

Review: Sync capability leaves all other competitors in the dust.

Adjustable speeds.

It's a good sized loader, seems to be pretty strong. The shell I have has yet to crack. I've never had the feedneck problem, I don't plan on doing much diving. I look forward to aftermarket shells when the lawsuit is settled.
Conclusion: Definitely worth having since you're able to sync it with your gun AND adjust speed.

Review: Fastest loader i have used, dependable, has reverse, almost never have hopper breaks, but that was because of cheap paint, the only part that stinks about the pulse is that the side buttons break easily, the shell cracks a little, and the feedneck snaps, but i have only had the problem with the side buttons, the wait to get it back from DXS is a while but worth the wait.
Conclusion: Great

Review: When i got this hopper i loved it. It is easily the fastest on the market. It can be taken apart and cleaned without tools. The short neck is awesome.

It is a little lighter than a Halo/Reloader but alot heavier than a Vlocity. The battery life is about as good as a Halo/Reloader. The screw for the battery door seems to strip very easily. I had to drill mine out and now it is held on with tape :(

I had only used this hopper three times when i noticed a crack in the neck. I looked on pbNation and probably over a hundred people had the same problem. Apparently they used the wrong type of plastic (not the stuff that was shown in the video where a guy is hammering with it and it doesnt break). And then Procaps got sued by NPS. This is still going on and DraXxus cannot sell the hopper anymore of any parts of it, and are not allowed to change the design. So they will continue to fix the broken hoppers with the cheap plastic. After i sent mine in i started using my friend's who quit paintball. I made sure the feedneck was very loose, but the neck still cracked after 3 practices. I still haven't got the first one back and it has been 3 months. They say the shells were stuck in customs for over a month because they are made in China or someplace.

It is possible to super glue or melt the neck back together, but it is not pretty and this problem just shouldn't exist with a $150 hopper. The moment i get mine back (if i ever do) i am going to sell it as BNIB. Then gonna get me a gangstar'd Vlocity Jr. They are only $100, almost as fast, way smaller and lighter, and way more durable. The new VL Eyeforce is worth taking a look at too. Don't take your chances with the Pulse. I guarentee if you use it for a while then it will break.

Conclusion: Do not buy this hopper. It is excellent except for the durability and the customer service. So yes there are alot more pros than cons but the cons are so bad that they outweigh the pros so i will give it a 2.

Battery Hatch is a weak point
Review: Just today I filled this up with paint and timed how fast it would feed. It fed like 200 balls in less than ten seconds! Thats 20+ BPS.... and that was in pulse mode. DXS claims I can get a higher feed rate in the RF mode.

Pretty much everyone else has said the same stuff as I would say. Its all around a great loader. One thing that you do need to watch is the battery life, but I have heard of people using the Halo rechargeable battery in this. Also the Hatch for the batteries is not so strong looking. Mine hasn't broke yet, but that because I'm really careful when I open it up and one day I expect it too eventually break on me.

Also DXS Support is great (and free) I got a factory defect and wasn't aloud to return it, but they helped me out a lot and fixed it for me!
Conclusion: Good buy, its expensive but pretty much the best option on the market

- Shell seem not to be durable
Review: It seems to be lighter than Halo, but I think the wieght is pretty much the same. The design is look nice, low profile. The moveble tray is a very good option, easy to clean. The plastic shell seems to be not durable, and cant find the replacement. The speed is very fast. Easy to use, just turn it on! Also has the reserveble mode button, very convenient to press during the game.

I think the down side on this loader is on replacment parts and accessories, which is difficult to find in the market or website.
Conclusion: I would recommend this loader to anyone who really need a fast loader, and can afford the price.

Review: Ok first off dont listen to those guys who are like the neck breaks and its fragile and stuff. this loader is very very tuff. i have taken numerous shots to the hopper. i have accidently stepped on it (140 pounds) the neck doesnt break off. they must of really over tightened it and loaded it with lead. i bet some of those people have never even owned a pulse. they are just mad because it beats there quatums. and if some of them actually did break it then if they are really playing that rough they shouldnt be playing paintball. youd have to shoot the thing to break it. anyway this is a great loader. it is hard to take out the electronics at first to clean it but you have to hit the top of the hopper while holding the buttons. it does take a while. its annoying but after once or twice its fine.it feeds very fast. i have heard various rumors about it doing 38 bps or 28. i dont know if this is true but i know it does 30 cause thats how fast i have turned my gun up to with the eyes off. i used it for a while before i got it synced and it always worried me that the batteries would wear down from pulsing. well they lasted a very long time so dont worry about that. i get great efficiency with it synced. it is a little bigger i believe to a halo b. i have not put them side to side but it seems a little bigger not to bad though. wieght is about the same s any other. the neck is very short keeping it low to the gun. a great hopper.
Conclusion: There is no way to break this thing dont listen to the others.if you got the dough go ahead and buy it. you wont be disepointed. i have had many people ask me quistions about it like "wow a pulse how good is it." i get several complements. very very nice. i could add more but i dont want to make it to long. a ten for a really great hopper. may be an a little higher than it should be since no loader is perfect yet but the rating really needs to go up. feel free to ask quistions and remember to rate my review!!!(i get wait to get crap from those people who says the puls sucks and breaks.)

Review: well i had some money and needed a hopper but i couldent afford to fork out 200 bux for a hopper so i looked around on the fourms, i came across a used pulse with speedfeed for 130 so i picked it up

PROS
it amazingly fast , its sits perfect on the gun, it has a strong shell and it looks pertty nice.
i really like the revers button too it was faster then cranking on a rip drive (im just worried about when thats going to brake)

CONS
well i bought it used so it dident come with a manuelle and the guy who sold it to me kinda just threw it at me said ok this is how you turn it on and grabed the cash. when i got it home it wasent pulsing like it is normaly sapos to do and it was very loud, i looked every were for how to get to dxs but i couldent find anything so i called badlands and they gave me the number ... i called dxs 3 times and left a message every time with my numbre and e-mail asking for some 1 to get back to me , and geusse what ... no one ever did , the only way i found out how to change the speed setting and what a red flashing light ment was threw you tube videos and the local fourms
Conclusion: All in all its an amazing hopper and i love it ... once i put some new batteries into it it was working like nothing i have ever used .... the only reason i will rate it a bit lower is because i hate the dxs tech saport thing and i hope i never have to deal with
them. this is getting a 9 , 1 point reduction becasue its not the hoppers fault the techs are so usless!
