Review:
This gun is pretty amazing. It is extrememly accuate, Very fast, and most importatnly, very consistant.
Previously I owned a completely decked ion (virtue board, freak barrel system, QEV, Firebolt, clamping feedneck, on/off, body-kit, etc.) and this rail outperforms it stock.
For $400 you get a gun that you can litterally pull out of the box, and walk onto the field with no aftermarket parts or upgrades and play with the best.
With that said, some upgrades some might want to consider (but that are not nec.) are a clamping feedneck (the feedneck on it adjusts with a hex key, but as you only take your hopper on/off once or twice a day, no biggie - I'll keep the stock on). a drop for personal preference of bottle placement. An on/off (though not at all necessary). A barrel (the stock one is quick accurate, but only 1 piece and an odd 11" - I'm just too anal for a stock barrel). and a new Trigger.
EXPLAINATION OF KEY WEAKNESSES:
1. Bolt cap: The bolt cap can't be tightened too much or you will strip the threads. Noticing that, I finger tightened it good and snug and took off to play. Problem is, at finger tight, when you get on the gun real hard (raming or walking) that cap will back out and allow air to shoot out the bolt cap (screwing up accuracy, consistancy, and turning this very air efficient machine into a gas hog). So, don't over-tighten it, but you need to cinch it down with a hex key - finger tight will only cause headaches.
2. Trigger. The trigger isn't bad, it's mostly personal preference. For rampers, the rubber grips will be wonderful - with or without gloves. But for those of us who love to walk, the rubber sticky grips are hendering and the slop is a little much (though I can still walk it at 17bps very easily).
3. Grips: This is worth noting. the PMR does NOT take standard 45 grips. The screw wholes line up, but the grips are actually taller and wider then 45 grips. Soooo, at this time, there are NO (0, zilch, nada) other grips available for these guns.
Conclusion:
An excellent product at an excellent price.
Very consitant, very accurate, VERY light.
Able to shoot right out of the box.
I would highly recommend it. I have an ion with MORE money in it then the rail, and the rail is night and day better
i have a pm6 and a pmr w/ redz barrel kit ,cp on/off , vlocity loader,bulldogs 45/45
Recommended Upgrades:
new asa
Strengths:
Very light and very low price.
Weaknesses:
The pmr needs some ups.
Review:
I had the extra cash and decided I needed a backup so i baught the pmr. Whe i took it ouut of the box i liked how small it is and how light it is. It shot amazing, much better than i had expected. Very easy to take apart and work on. It comes with several different firing modes wich is a plus. What I didn't like is the trigger, barrel, and the asa. Other than that this gun is great. It is very easy to change the velocity you just adjust the reg you dont have to mess around with a lpr. This gun works so i good i was playing with it over my pm6. It comes with some replacement o-rings and detents and lube.
Conclusion:
If you dont have a lot of money but want a good gun buy this.
Feed neck
trigger
accuracy is ok not bad but ok !
Kick
Review:
I bought this a few weeks ago and i thought it was great it was hard to get used to the trigger but now i did and i can rip. It kicks alot though. i also noticed the accuracy is ok but i really think its because of the weather i live in new york and it was 25 degrees when i shot it. still get a new barrel. the feed neck holds my halo but its bad the composite part just comes off. my bolt cap also started to unscrew when ever i shot it and i kept having to hold the screw wile i was playing so i had alot of trouble playing speedball. also i hate how it doesn't have and on/off. if you have 400 dollars get this or a mini i think the mini is better stock than this stock but if you add on to this gun it is comparable to egos and angels and i think can be the same as a pm6 with 200$ on it.
Edit 1/2/07
a few days ago a shot my rail again at a small board about 4in tall and 2 in wide from about 50 feet away. i was hitting it dead center almost every time but every once ina wile a stray ball would miss the board by about a inch or less
Edit 1/9/07
i was test firing and my guns bolt cap would unscrew every time it shot i know why and that's because of air that is pushed through the back of the pmr. its supposed to let air out though to help recoil on the gun its in the manual but i am disappointed about it because now i have to keep screwing it in every time i play if any 1 knows how to fix this please tell me.
Edit 1/16/07
i played with it yesterday and it was great although my bolt cap is still unscrewing its great. i used to not like the trigger but now im used to it and im ripping it. i put on medium locktite so that it wouldn't UN screw and i still have to see if its working i really want to give it a couple days.
Edit 1/17/06
today i tryed out my pmr and it is fine the bolt cap is not unscrewing any more although i Will still buy a metal bolt cap. i also broke two balls i think it was because of my halo because i haven't changed my batteries in a wile so i think it was feeding really slow so i changed the batteries and it was going faster but i still broke a ball i did clean the eyes and made sure they are working and they were fine so i think it might be a little dirty.
edit 1/ 26/07
my gun is now working fine and the bolt cap is not unscrewing this gun is great! and the reson it broke paint was becuse of my barrel it was 20 degres when i shot and the paintballs expanded and broke.
EDIT 2/11/07
MY GUN IS NOW WORKING GREAT AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT IV PLAYED WITH IT 3 TIMES SINSE MY LAST EDIT IN FREEZING WEATHER AND T WAS GREAT!
I will post updates
Conclusion:
If your thincking of getting an new gun and you have enough for the rail get it becuse this gun defenetly can compete with the higher end guns like eteck s and pm's and angels (dont buy angels) please dont buy an epiphany! this gun is great and completely worth it.

matte black PMR all stock
45/45 pure energy tank
smoke pulse hopper but no rf chip yet
Recommended Upgrades:
on off/ new rail
new feedneck and trigger(if even made yet) if you dont like the polymer rubber feeling
Maybe a UL frame if your into that.
Strengths:
FASSST
low profile
price!
accurate
no lpr
cocker threads (my favorrrite)
effiecient
Weaknesses:
Trigger (see review)
Loud
Hard to mess with board
Review:
the body is very very light. It also has a nice low profile and the feedneck doesn't stick up a mile like on the DM's, but does have the nice easy bolt removal like DM's and PM's
Trigger- its always about personal settings, but i never got it set like i wanted it to. I adjusted it but I couldn't get it the way i like. Over all it has a very heavy trigger pull. The trigger is made with a polymer/rubber mixture and can be bent almost at a 90 degree angle. The trigger is so flexible you can bend it up around the top of the trigger frame.( if you do this and it breaks don't blame me, i saw the guy in the proshop do it before i bought it.) But obviously with a trigger like that it feels like rubber(duh) and i wasn't a fan of that at all. but once again you decide.
efficiency- wasn't too bad on my 45/45 right out of the box with factory settings.
Conclusion:
if your starting on the tournament level then this is a great gun for you to get. not too expensive, nice, neat looking, and just all around a decent gun. I definitely recommend starting with one of these before you get spoiled on more expensive high end markers to hate everything about cheap high ends.
A New Trigger - My opinion
If you don't wanna, then pull the trigger back
Virtue
Strengths:
Accurate
Weight
Fast
Price
Weaknesses:
Barrel - I think it's a 12 inch, i like between 14 - 16.
Review:
Well, when you first buy it your like wow this is very small and when you pick it up you will recognize the weight of this beauty. You take it out for a test then you notice the speed of it. The trigger, I'd say, is nice, I like sloppy triggers, it'nce smooth look is incredible. I took it out with only 1000psi, left and shot 2 hoppers full with it and still it left around 150-250 psi left, this ain't a gas hog.
EDIT: So, I went to my home paintball field, and i see 1/3 of the people have PMR's lol, no surprise seeing their cheap and fast. However, hopefully the paintballs were hot because some were curving, but most of them weren't. Anyway, ths gun at least hit 20bps because it was getting some good bounces. When you first get your gun, you should change sensitivity for the trigger because it may make your fingers comfortable to it and you will shoot the gun faster. This gun is a definite gun to have.
Ok so i have sold it about a couple days ago and i got Etek. I have used it for 2 years now and now have a complete look at it than from my other review when I had it within a couple of months. So it's light and fast yaddy yaddy yar yar. However, i did have a gas leak, not too bad don't worry not a huge problem i think it was just me. But what i noticed for some reason was that o-rings broke easier. I don't know why but in my opinion they broke a lot. The barrel i used is a Freak, i would recommend it, considereing its a 14inch and its much mroe accurate than the other. Running down the field with it was with ease. I could feel nothing in my hands except my fingers on the trigger and me ripping on people. So it's a good run-gun, gun. Made by Proto sort of a gas hogger each game I'm using bettwen 1750 - 2750 psi. So it's almost like a shocker. Other than that i had no problems besides batteries where brand new 9 volts would be dead in that gun until i got virtue for it and that fixed it because i accidently pulled out a switch in the last board. So i would suggest virtue for it.
Conclusion:
This is a great gun for anybody, and ultra-light and fast, for the price.

First of this thing is light! it weighs less than my heavy ass sweatshirt with the tank on!
30 bps ramping!! (if u like to ramp)
Trigger is a little sloppy which isnt a prob but the fact that it has rubber makes it hard to walk.
The bolt cap is just terrible, it comes out after a while and is made of that polymere crap! Buy an alluminum one right away!
The feednecks fine but the where and tear will get to it eventually.
Conclusion:
Poly parts: eye plates, whole trigger frame, bolt cap, trigger, grip, feed clamp
The accuracy is great outa the box and i was shootin pretty good with crap old rainbow paint.
I had no chops just barrel breaks (crappy paint and cold weather)
and this thing is drop dead gorgeaous and small and sooo light!!
If u plan on puttin another $300 into it....buy it
If not the dont get ur hopes up cuase after a while this is gona mess with poly parts.
THIS STANDS STRONG IN THE RACE OF EPIPHANY, MINI, AND RAIL
Proto Matrix Rail
Pulse Loader
soon to come... rf chip
Recommended Upgrades:
Well, havent fired this gun yet, but i will update this review when i do shoot it.
upgrades, to me, nothin really needs to be replaced, but a UL frame, new feedneck and barrel would be a nice addition.
Strengths:
VERY LIGHT!
small
low profile
nice feel
Weaknesses:
The buttons on the board are annoying.
Review:
Well, just got this gun on christmas, and i took it out, and it feels great.
It is very light, nice low profile and looks great.
However, when i went to change the settings on the board to highest speed and ramping, whenever i lifted the board a little, the buttons would fall out, and were annoying to get back in. Other than that, thing sounds fast, from what i've done so far.
Will make this review better after i fire the gun.
Conclusion:
So far, gun is great, seems like a great deal for 400 bucks, but dont go around thinkin it beats a pm7 because reality is it doesn't

Conclusion:

-Ricochet apache
-Proto rail/w new designz silver trigger
-Halo B w/v35 and rip drive, speed feed, new designs reip drive knob
-Evil 45/5000 tank

Recommended Upgrades:
New designs trigger

Strengths:
Light, strong, fast, relativly cheap
Weaknesses:
Nothing
Review:
This is an excelent gun, I got it for Christmas and it is so light and accurate I have added a new designz trigger cp drop down and cp on/off. I bought a used redz barrel kit, i went to my field which usally doesn't have many people there and there was a ton and there were only 4 or 5 people that had never played before. So there was a lot of high end guns there from DM6's to ions, and after saying that it kicks as*, one guy got a brand new ego and he was impressed, in about sixty feet i was hitting a circle around 6 inches across with a redz barrel kit. My friend had an empire b loader, pure energy 68/4500, and an 06 timmy and it was lighter but by about 3 onces. At some point im adding a virtue board and eyes along with a aluminum bolt cap and a bolt when they come out. The composite frame is lighter than aluminum and cheaper, and dont worry about breaking it because you wont, its to strong. Its not ion plastic its a tuff polymor kind of stuff, this is sooo fast, the trigger was so light that I used 2500 paintballs in a fairly short day, when i usally play i use 1000 paintballs. Buy this gun you will not be disapointed, its so sccurate buy it.
Conclusion:
I would recommend the product to any one and I would buy it again, I give it a nine because it does have a few things i would like to change and i will rate it up or lower taking in account that the regulater hasn't been broken in. Buy it now the longer you wait the more you are going to get owened
