pretty good gun over all it has a nice feed descent accuracy and its pretty damn cheap i got mine for 87$ from academy. buy it becuase yer skill matters not the gun you have because you may suck and own an angel so i reccomend this gun to any1 i have many more but when im playin with this gun i usually am going for fun
Weaknesses:
the barrel is a little too short spyder barrels fit in it so get a 14 incher for like 25$
other than that there is no real deficiencies
Conclusion:
over all great gun i recommend it to any1 smooth and accurate shot for cheap money but the barrel needs to be changed
This gun is pretty good, I got it around July of 2001 for $70.00, which is pretty damn good for all it came with. Very Loud, (which I like), pretty accurate, and durrible
Weaknesses:
It's extremely hard to find upgrades for it. other than that it's pretty good.
Conclusion:
I would recommend this gun to anyone who doesn't want to spend much but still wouldn't be caught dead near a brass eagle. It is deffinately worth the cost. Mine performs similar to a Spyder Compact Delux (2 of my friends have them.) A very good gun.
I bought this gun around Christmas time the year of 2000. It was a great gun right out of the box. It's no angel but it is pretty accurate. All spyder barrel's fit this gun so get a 14 inch ( Work's best with the Rhino ). Work's the same with or with out bottomline. The trigger pull isn't exactly ultra light, but there is a way to get it that way. Pull the trigger back and slip a few pieces of paper or cardboard in the holr above the trigger. It makes the trigger have less travel which equals faster trigger speeds. The velocity which the gun is set on is perfect, do not change it at all. Or it will braek balls and shoot very un accurately. So for the price, its a good gun. It is right hand feed so you can aim through the sight rail. This gun takes all spyder accessories and upgrades it so upgrade it to da hill, and it will be pretty bad.
Weaknesses:
Trigger pull is kinda hard and is no consistant. Trust me, i have a faaasssttt trigger pull and it was hard for me to keep up the speeds ( a revolution is a must) All plastic trigger frame, kinda feels a little cheap.
Conclusion:
I know just about every question possible about this gun, so e-mail me if you have any questions at BigPirate87@aol.com
First of all, its pretty damn accurate. The barrel is a nine inch barrel which does not leave you hanging but does not reduce distance. The site is totally unobstructed by the ball receiver, which means you don't have to buy any extras to add a scope or red dot to the gun. The trigger is not to bad for a regular trigger (compared to electronic, etc.) 6 balls/sec. The package also includes a hose hookup that allows you to attach the tank to the handle for shoulder usage.
Weaknesses:
I do not suggest you use brass eagle paintballs with this product. They just keep exploding in the barrel and when you have oponents shooting paintballs up your wazzoo, you might want to return fire without complications. Get an expansion chamber for it too. The gun likes to freeze in the winter. And as for the little plastic insert, its not so bad. just not showy.
Conclusion:
Over all this gun performs pretty darn well for stock save the need for a chamber. Any smart baller will get a chamber regardless. For the price of this gun it outclasses it's competition. I have recently looked at the price of Rhinos and they seem pretty reasonable for 120 bucks. Compared to its competition in its class, you end up asking, "What competition?" I really suggest that a beginner start with this gun. It's easy to take apart, easy to assemble, and easy to maintain.
First of all, for how cheap this gun is you'd think it is a bad gun right? WRONG!!!!!! It is one of the most accurate guns i've ever seen. I was suprised since it has a 9 inch barrel. It's ammo feed is positioned on the side so you get a unobstructed view to aim with. I use PMI Premium Gold and they work perfect. DON'T EVER USE BRASS EAGLE!!!! I bought a thing of 200 and 1 out of 10 looked like a egg. They were horrible. I gotta give some props to the service dept. because they were awesome. I sent it to them to get a part fixed that I accidentally broke and they got it back to me in 4 days!(3 days shipping)
Weaknesses:
Well, it does have some down points. Without a expansion chamber in the cold, it gets liquid in the barrel and the balls kinda shoot of in weird directions. It needs a forgrip. I have a CMI Universal that attaches to the barrel and now it looks like a Tommy Gun. Even though it is solid, it does have plastic grip that should be replaced. Other than that it's awesome.
Conclusion:
I would recommend this gun to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot but wants their money's worth. It does need a little work. But i got all the stuff that i put on it for less than $20. Make sure you tryout a few types of paint before you stick to one brand. I recommend PMI Premium Gold. Some people have to spend hundreds, but I spent about $150 counting the CO2 tank and I love it.
