The NXe Tactical Harness is the culmination of extensive thought and design of products in the Paintball industry. We took the elements that have made us a success in the tournament market, and applied them to the scenario market. We also added specialized features, based on our knowledge and experience in scenario games, big games, and woods ball. We developed a vest which is both accommodating to the varying needs of the scenario games player, and functional for the woods ball player.
The NXe TH61 S-Type Tactical Vest is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.
US Military MOLLE II vest with several Opsgear and blackhawk pouches
RAVEN OBG 4+3 pack
SP-8 (with buttstock and sniper shroud)
pure energy 88/3000 HPA tank
bought this vest for myself from Action village- there was a sale going on at the time. I'd heard alot of great things about it, and decided to give it a try. I kinda regret sepnding the money now, though, but that's me.
To start off, the vest is well made, as is to be expected from an NXe product. It's fit is a little loose for me, even with the straps cinched down all the way, but then again, i'm not that big a guy, so no big deal. the internal elastic belt is a defanite plus, helps distribute weight nicley, although the shoulders aren't padded.
This thing has storage out the wazoo. A pair of pouches at the bottom, with velcro closure, then a zipper pouch behind them. There's another two pockets above them on the right side of the vest, both with zippers. on the back, there's a hydration bladder pouch, a tank pouch, and another, larger pouch with velcro closure, for rations, or pods, or something. IDK, it opens at the top, which sits right about at my mid back, so i don't think i'd store anything there, but again, that's me.
it also comes with a 'radio' pouck which is semi-modular- it can be attached to any of the webbing straps on the vest, but there's not alot of them. some down the left-front, and some in back, that's about it. the pouch is pretty small too, it wouldn't fit my Handheld radio, so IDK about how useful it is. looks kinda cool though, IMO.
The vest carries 6 pods 'stock', and can carry up to three more, using the NX-SP2 or -SP3 packs. those attach to the back via tha cinching straps for the air tank pouch. Personally, i haven't tried that, but it seems like it'd bounce around alot.
the vest is of solid material construction, except along the upper back and shoulders, where it's mesh. seems like it could get hot, but not too badly, and the built-in hydration bladder is a plus, for sure.
I was able to get the vest for 100$ even, although, now, in retrospect, i kinda wish i hadn't.
All told, it's not a bad vest. alot of storage, well-made, and with a good name behind it. However, with that said, There is alot of what seems like wasted space- some of the front pouches don't seem to readily suggest a use, and the big extra pouch in the back again, seems like wasted space. the radio pouch could have been bigger, in fact, it would have been nice if it was.
All told, i figure about a 8 out of 10. It's definatley not a bad vest, outstanding if you have alot of other stuff you need to carry on the field, but if you're just carrying paint and air, it's a little overkill.
E-Grip w/ W.A.S Board
J&J Edge Kit
Macro Line Kit
BT Spring Kit
BT Fixed Sight Rail
Core 11 Stage Expansion Chamber
PMI Remote Line
Pure Engergy 20oz Co2
Radio Pouch locatable
Can hold MASSIVE 92ci
No velcro spot for badges like the Spec Ops vests
Pockets are black
I looked at several and was sold on a Spec Ops vest because I know they are great quality. However, I came across this one at the Xtremez.com showroom (which I live near) and decided it check it out. Wow was I impressed! Very, very durable with quality written all over it. I have a NXe 4+1 so am familiar with there product, and this was just as good.
Storage galore. In fact, I added my pods, air, ran my remote through the loops so it is easily accessable and doesn't "drag" when disconnected from the marker, added my radio, squeegie, goggle wipe...then stared at all those other pockets. What the heck am I suppose to do with all this, lol?
Weight is pretty good. It also has an internal adjustable belt to help keep it tight to the body and to distribute weigh a bit.
Adjustable size...what else can I say. It is very adjustable. I am average build and this thing could easily go up sizes both up and down.
The Hydration system spot is sweet too, though I wish it can with the actually bladder and hose...that would be a nice little touch.
For $100 I think it stands out above all vests in the $65-140 range that offer the similiar performance.
Overall I love it! I think the biggest thing about a vest though is prefrence. You style of play and your gear setup are gonna really determine what you need when it comes to a Tactical Vest. I say try as many of them as you can..figure out the configuration you need and go with that. If the NXe fits your config style, go for it!

Tacamo wood ak-47 barrel kit
Tacamo wood ak stock
Tacamo sight rail
Opsgear ak-47 hideaway mag
Penspring and my own trigger modding
Stock hopper or 30 round tac cap
48/3000 pmi air tank
4 peice pod belt
Lots of pockets
Tank pouch is huge
Could get hot if where you live gets hot
I bought this vest because I was getting into scenarios soon and am sick of my little 4 + 1 belt slooshing around everywhere when I run. I like going remote so a regular belt wasnt an option so I started looking for vests. I found this one at my local store and wanted it right away the following pay check I picked it up. Let me say its very comfertable and the belt holds you very tight. The pockets are awesome and theres lots for all your needs. There room for 6 140 round pods and you can add some with the upgrade apparently. Seems very durable from what I've seen and the quality seems awesome. The pods are also easy to get at and are held well. Theres also room for a large water bladder on the back. The tank pouch is adjustable I can hold my air tank tightly all by it self and I can adjust it large enough to hold my 20 ounc co2 and my air tank together.
Awesome quality, good price and very comfertable
