This is a brand new item from the red hot Critical Paintball line. This awesome feedneck is currently only available in Ion/Impulse threads and blows any current feedneck out of the water. It has the very popular clamp style lock and lever, which makes it very easy to remove and replace hoppers. It is also knurled on the inside of the feedneck for a better grip on the hopper.

- Positive Lock Cam Lever (you can feel when it is locked and it does not open by itself)

- Very Lightweight - 30% lighter than the competition

- Internally Knurled for a better grip on your hopper
Product Availability
The Critical Paintball Ion/Impulse Feedneck is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

The Critical Paintball feedneck does not allow you to adjust the locking tension without tools.
Marker Setup: I'm a hardcore poor gun whore, lotsa markers and counting:
Orange County Bushwackers SL66
Sacramento XSV Ego 06
1 of 150 blue e-star camo Etek1
Bob Long Closer
DYE DM4 (dust black)
Proto Minion 2007
SP Ion (ShockTech body kit)
SP Ion XE
WDP Angel LED 1999
APS Angel A1
2 Invert MINI (gloss black, dust olive)
5 WGP Autocockers (Bob Long, 2 E-Cockers, pump Trilogy, E2)
6 AGD AutoMags
2 JT E-Excellerators
1 VL E-marker
1 Piranha/PCS USP pistol
1 Piranha EVO
Strengths: Lever Clamping Feedneck.
Low profile.
Weaknesses: Cannot adjust the locking tension without tools.
Fragile due to lack of material.
Review: Overall the Critical Paintball lever clamping feedneck is very well made. It is very light due to the "windows" or open areas without metal. As a result it is fragile and prone to damage or bending.

It is a lever clamping feedneck which allows for a very positive cam-locking action. It makes it easy to put your hopper on or take it off in an instant. However, the design of the lever clamping feedneck does not allow you to adjust the locking tension without tools.

Also the feedneck sits nice and low on top of the Ion making for a low, small profile.

Conclusion: I would recommend another lever clamping feedneck, one that allows you to adjust the locking tension without tools.

I rated it a " 7 " because it gets points for doing it's job but loses points for the drawbacks.

Strengths: Lightweight, gives death grip on loader neck.
Weaknesses: Only available in gloss black?
Review: I had somehow managed to strip out the threads on the brass insert for my Mini's stock feedneck lever, so after looking at several replacements, ordered this one from Critical.

The threads fit nicely with no problem, and I secured it with some blue Loctite. The neck fits well and clamps very securely onto my Magna Drive, Torque, and Halo loaders. The lever snaps into locked position and stays secure. The neck is skeletonized, so I had some fear that it may be somewhat fragile, but that was unfounded. After being used at some aggressive play over the course of 9 full days so far by myself, my son, and my GF's younger sister, including sliding into bunkers, being dropped, fallen on, and other normal abuse, it came through everything in one piece, still clamping the loader securely.
Conclusion: I would have to give the Critical feedneck a solid 10 for the above reasons, not to mention that it is arguably the best looking feedneck available at this time.
