Adjustable shoulder and side straps with quick release buckles
Large mesh pocket inside back panel for optional hydration bladder (sold separately)

This is a molle vest designed to put amour platting inside of it. It has Velcro straps to hold a hydration pouch up into place. It can fit a person with a 44inch waist with ease.
However, for the use of paintball it can work out well. With more paintball companies offering molle attachments for products such as Warsensor, SpecOps, etc.

The Molle Plate Carrier Vest is newer, so it should be commonly available, both new and used.

MOLLE can be a pain
Review: This is a fantastic piece of kit.

I have it in OD green (mostly because I couldn't find anything besides that, Black and Tan) and these pouches:

Double AK/M4 Mag pouch x2
Double AK/M4 Upside down quick change Mag Pouch x2
Radio Pouch x1
Double Pineapple Grenade Pouch x1
Smoke Grenade Pouch (Utility Pouch) x1
MOLLE Grab Bag x1

It came with two removable pads on the inside as this particular vest is designed to hold ceramic plates (sold separately, and half the reason it was so expensive).

It has an internal elastic belt that holds it on great and is fully adjustable to fit any body type.

Again, the main strength for the plate carrier is that it has 360 Degree MOLLE and that basically allows for any kind of setup you can imagine, I've been through countless different versions to the one I have now, and the vest can be adapted to fit any mission profile.

As for the integrated side bins, they will not fit a standard paintball Pod unfortunately, however, I've found that they're perfect for holding my squeegee.

I suppose one of the major issues with this is that it is MilSpec gear and inherently not designed for paintball. Most of the time, the standard M4 Mag pouches will not fit paintball Pods. With the ones I have, a 100 Rnd will *just* fit, but not firmly enough for me to want to use it. To counter this, I took my Pods and cut them down to just over half size, (so they're now about 70-75 round Pods) and they fit very nicely into all the M4 Pouches. Obviously, it means less paint, but I'm carrying 8 of these onto the field at any one time and I'm generally not overly trigger happy so it works out. Alternatively, you could use 50 Round Pods, I imagine those would work equally well.

To run my remote, I have a Grab Bag with MOLLE which will hold my tank securely on my back.

The grenade pouches, well, I don't OFTEN use them. My local field sells paint grenades and it's occasionally fun to grab one or two of them.

And the Smoke Grenade Pouch, I use to stick my barrel sock in during play.

With all the gear on, the vest CAN be a little heavy and perhaps bulky, but it fits securely and is easy to move in.

I'd say the only other flaw is that when first installing, MOLLE can be an absolute pain, but you've only got to do it once, so it's sort of irrelevant.
Conclusion: If you have the cash to splurge on one of these babies, I'd highly recommend it. The level of customization this vest offers is huge and if you're willing to get the right gear to fit it, it's ideal.

After all, what could be better than genuine Military Issue tactical gear?
I'll give it a 9 because it can be bulky at times, and isn't beneficial to your profile.
