Review:
I got this barrel off ebay and i bought it for a back up and now it's used as my main barrel. The silencer is so awesome, and the porting really does work. This barrel works great and its very cheap. This barrel is as good as my freak jr. and looks alot better.
Conclusion:
This barrel works great and all my friends are jealous because it looks so cool.
i was at the local pb shop with a teammate when the kid behind the counter whips this barrel out, and we both started to drool at the thought!!! but we couldnt decide who was going to be the guinea pig and get it. eventually i broke down and said that ill try it, what the hell? So i whipped out 35 bucks and prayed that my wife wouldn't kill me(haha she still doesnt know).the next day was our game at the local field.we both use sp-1 now, so a side bt side comparison was in order. First thing i had to do was to slow my gun down to match his stock board so we can analyze this thing accurately.so side by side we went into the target range to try them out, and let everyone judge for themselves. this barrel is MUCH MUCH quieter than the stock barrel, or my 18 inch stiffi barrel!!!! as matter of fact, we tried it out against an automag longbow, and the sp-1 was quieter!!!!it has a good range, and is nicely accurate too
Conclusion:
If you are using an sp-1 and like to scare the hell out of people,or play sniper, buy this barrel. it is worth the money

Review:
I bought this barrel because a few years ago, I made a suppressor for my PB gun using the same principals as the suppressor on this barrel. The cool this was, when it didn't break paint, my homemade suppressor worked pretty well to quiet the shots.
I saw this barrel and had to try it out. I thought, 45 bucks kind of sucks, but I have to try it.
Here's the bottom line, This barrel lacks the correct honing for the front bolt. When the gun is fired, the front bolt gets jammed in the barrel so badly that the gun dose not fire.
I contacted both Trinity, and Tippmann Pros, whom I bought the barrel from. Both have agreed that the M98 version of the barrel is defective. Both companies offered a refund of my purchase price in the form of store credit.
Conclusion:
If you see a M98 version of this barrel anytime soon, do not by it. Maybe in 6 months to a year it will be re-released & fixed, but be weary...
