Review: One thing I miss from my old Raven goggles was the tint lens. So when I saw that V-force made a photochromatic lens for the Profiler, I got one.

I bought the brown tint based on a little research I did. It blocks the blue light and still retains most of the true color reception. The lenses are very subtle in the tint. Some people wouldn't like that, but it does tint just enough to make it comfortable to see.

I did have one instance where I had to wear sunglasses under my goggles, but that was an extreme situation and not normal. I also find that the lenses are more prone to fogging than my clear lenses. I don't know if it's something I did, or if it's something inherent to the lens treatment. Either way, it's something that's been happening.

I find that the color change is actually fairly fast considering what's going on. I like the subtle tint, as it's not overbearing. When you play in the woods, and go from light to dark, your eyes don't need to adjust as much. Plus it's handy when you're going from something like a building or tunnel into the light, or visa versa. Can you imagine going into a dark building with a mirrored lens?
Conclusion: If you play in variable light conditions, this is a good purchase. If you play in mostly sun (outdoor speedball) or mostly dark (indoor CQB) this may not be a good lens for you. But if you go from one to the other routinely, then make sure you pick one of these up.

Review: First of all I would like to say that this is the best lens that I have ever used, both on the paintball field and off. I have the grey lens so you can't really tell if the lens is tinted most of the time (until you take it off). On the downside the tinting on the lens is a little on the light side, so even when the lens is at it's darkest, you can still see right though it (from the outside). But on the bright side the lens feels "natural" so your eyes aren't strained from a lens that is ether too dark or too Bright. This lens will work in most lighting conditions, however for extremely bright sunny days I would recommend the mirrored lenses.
I personally thought that the color change process for this lens was kind of slow (it takes place for around 2 minutes) but after talking to people who have the transition lenses in their glasses this is ether better or around the same to how their lenses change color.
The anti fog on this lens is fine, it's about the same as my other vforce lenses. I did get mine to fog up though, but it was cold and raining all day. And besides everybodys mask was fogging up, even the new grills, and the dye i3's. and even then it wasn't that bad, and my lens eventually cleared up after I played some more. And my other two lenses fogged up as well.
One thing that really disappointed me with this lens is that it stained on the inside. Somehow paint got inside the mask and on the lens. It probably would have been fine if I had got the paint off right away, but I have gotten paint on the inside of my lenses before and they have never stained. But because this was somewhat my fault I don't count it against the lens.
Conclusion: This is by far my favorite lens, and easily the best I've ever used. It will work in most lighting conditions but you should have other lenses (amber and a mirror) for extremely light and dark situations, or as backup. I just wish the lens got darker, and that they used this technology in other applications i.e. motorcycle helmets and snowboard/ski goggles.

Review: Well guys im making this brief, I have the chrome lenses and this dark photochormatic lenses, this lenses are great for indoor paintballing, noon paintballing, night and cloudy days. But when is outdoors and sunny they dont get as dark as my chrome lenses. Dont get me wrong they are 100 times better for sunny days than the amber, those dark replacement and stock one. But if you're looking for that lenses that no one can see your eyes get the chrome. It all depends on preference.
Conclusion: Great product I really recommend it. Always try them at the store.
