i have a 2001 autococker vertical feed with an upgraded black ergo regulator, with a WGP 2 piece aluminum barrel, chrome trigger shoe, Houge grips, and a Benchmark 45 frame
Strengths:
*Randy Johnson can't throw a curve ball as good as this gun
*brass eagle made it and u know what that means
*you might as well recycle thenm after u use them
*u might as well chuck paintballs they will go farther
Weaknesses:
this gun was the biggest piece of sh@t i ever used if you got shot in the gun you might as well but another one .i can sell my crap for more. Randy Johnson can't throw a curve ball as good as this gun*brass eagle made it and u know what that means
*you might as well recycle thenm after u use them
*u might as well chuck paintballs they will go farther
Rubbermaid spatula
Throwing paintballs w/ my bare hands
Marker Setup:
Tippman custom 98
Phantom SC
Recommended Upgrades:
Vertical drop into garbage can
Strengths:
It got me into paintball. Even a p.o.s. like the Blade can have some positive side effects. It didn't take long to realize it was time to get a decent gun, (after missing a few targets from about 10') but w/o the $20 transition into paintball, I probably wouldn't have ever started.
Weaknesses:
There are enough reviews here to cover anything I could possibly say more about this hideously ugly piece of filth. I feel a twinge of embarassment just typing the word "Blade," into the search category.
Conclusion:
Give it to little brothers and hunt them in the woods. Maybe they'll save their pennies up for an old pump and give you a very slighter challenge. Don't bother buying this if you're reading info on this site... obviously you have enough curiosity in the sport to avoid this wretched, abominable excuse for a marker.
BE Talon, Tigershark, Samurai & ACI Maverick Deluxe
Marker Setup:
Stock setup, CO2 cart., APP 230 rnd. loader.
Recommended Upgrades:
New gun, preferably something that doesn't suck.
Strengths:
It is a low cost pump gun. May draw young blood into the sport, but will not last as a primary arm.
Weaknesses:
Plastic... ugh! Sure everyone loves their plastic guns... untill they break. It teaches rookies nothing of velocity adjustment and other safety aspects of the game which are built into many higher quality guns. Brass Eagle is hated by the paintball community, but they sure have worked hard for their reputation. They have terrible customer service, their quality stinks and you will often find yourself screwed!
Conclusion:
Don't buy it, you should just save your money and get a REAL gun. I love the kid somewhere below me that claims he can take any Angel or Cocker anyday of the week with this POS... isn't he funny!
Fires, has a trigger, balls can enter correctly, + looks nice.
Weaknesses:
The balls throw better curve balls then Pedro Martinez. The balls do break in the barrell and dosn't always breaks at what you are shooting at. The Co2 dosn't allways go in right. You not only lose Co2's you lose balls and about 50 bucks.
Conclusion:
I am coming to a conclusion on this wonderful poduct. It sucks great big paintballs. I recomend you make a better decision and spend alittle more money. O.K. thankyou.
Now available, Tippmann is offering an upgrade package to this gun. Instillation of the modifications are so simple any beginner silly enough to have bought this gun in the first place could do it.
Here are the steps in order.
1.Remove "gun" from hopper.
2.Replace "gun" with custom 98.
3.Later you may decide to further modify this gun by buying a new hopper.
(Actually for a first time gun this isn't such a bad deal, it's not like you're out a lot if it doesn't last the week)
1. Plastic !!
2. Load as a Jack Hammer !!
3. Made by BRASS EAGLE (shutter with dismay)
Conclusion:
This is a good gun to let you know if you are going to enjoy paintball. So me and about 10 buddies all bought these things, CO2, and B.E. paint and played all day. Out of the 10 of use, 9 moved up to better guns and one guy didn't like paintbal, so he was very happy he didn't invest MORE MONEY.
This gun is a BASIC STARTER gun to let you taste paintball for the first time(or you could rent at a field)
I now own a Model 98 Custom with my Bigshot and Dye barrels.
I say thank you to my (only used once) Blade for getting me hooked on this awsome game.
It is disposable
It can be used as a hand grenade
it can be used as toilet paper
Weaknesses:
It shoots anywhere but your target
it is made of plastic
it uses gas like its free
it breaks more balls than a professional castrator
it cracks on the hopper port
the hopper hold 45
it isn't even worth $20
it looks like FISHER PRICE made it
it is Sh|t
Conclusion:
Dont even look at this gun nonetheless buy it
never buy a brass eagle product
do the world a favor and go and burn the brass eagle factory down
If you have ever had a paintball gun and have had problems with it, then this is the gun for you. This gun is the best marker i have ever played with. My friends and i all traded our M-98's, F4's, and spyders for these guns. They have an awsome range, they are almost as acurate as a dear riffle. I almost wish that it wasn't so good at hooking balls, they balls litteraly go where you want them to. You pull the trigger, and a massive spray of paint, comes out and strikes at your enemy.
Weaknesses:
There is absolutely nothing bad about this gun. Once i was playing and the CO2 exploded, and killed all three of my opponents. This gun, even has a built in grenade launcher. I can't believe that they are able to sell this gun so cheaply, i would reccamend this gun to anybody. nothing, and i mean nothing, is wrong with these guns, geeze you guys, come one, all these bad reviews, so mean, you just got a bad one.
Conclusion:
Yeah, i'm a big liar. This gun blows like an elephant.
there is nothing good about this gun accept that it costs less than $50
Weaknesses:
this gun suck major ass; this is why:
1.the barrel cracks
2. it uses Co2s like a dirty slut
3. the Co2 leaks
4. balls get jammed
5. sometimes it doesn't cock
and 6. DON'T buy this gun unless you are 12 and dont have alot of money
The weight distribution on this gun is great! pretty good accuracy for the price. I went against a team 1-2 and they both had Semi Auto Spyder XTRA's and I beat their tales with it.
Weaknesses:
The Co2 port is cracking and the Co2 leaks way to much! Also it needs a site!
Conclusion:
Overall it's alright not the best not the worst. watch out for the co2 port and overall if your gonna buy a basic gun get a Talon for only like 20$ more!
