I was tired of having my 98 custom that looked like everyone elses. Just a basic looking paintball gun. I became even more annoyed when all of my cousins decided that they were going to buy the exact same gun as me. So I wanted to have mine look different and I looked around on the web and found this. I love the way this kit looks and when you add the X7 AK47 front site on it it really looks good. The installation was a breeze and it is very sturdy.
You will want a longer barrel for this kit if you are still using th stock one. This was no problem for me because I bought a better barrel a long time ago.
Conclusion:
I love this kit and if you want to change up the look of your 98 custom this will do the trick.

I had a Tippmann 98 custom, and wanted to do something cool to it. So i bought this pack. It was nice, but most air tanks i used were bigger than the stock, undermiming its purpose. The 8 inch barrel that the tippmann comes with wasnt smaller than the shroud, but it was too small to get a grip on to unscrew after installing the shroud (i didn't want to have to take the shroud off to take apart the barrel.) I would recommend getting a bigger barrel before getting this kit.
Conclusion:
Nice looking, small function, get a barrel that is longet than 8.5" before you get this.

Very nice, not heavy, gives a very nice look to a plain 98,strong and durable.
Worth every penny. One bad thing is there are no mounting rails if u wanted to put a laser sight or flash light ect. But it is easy to install and only about 95.00 on some web sites.
Conclusion:
If want to make ur 98 better looking and want to do it cheap u should buy this kit!!
