Installation
Installing the Zick kit is incredibly simple.
1. Take off stock back cap.
2. Fish out the stock rammer
3. Put a drop of Oil on each of the orings on the Zick rammer
4. Put in Zick rammer
5. Screw on Zick back cap.
Performance
Does what it says. Virtually eliminates kick from the Ego. It reduces kick by reducing the acceleration of the rammer during the beginning and end of the firing cycle. You still have the kick of the rammer impacting the poppet, but it's minimal.
Other Stuff
Added bonus: routine maintenance is now tool free. The Zick back cap sticks out enough for me to unscrew it with my fingers. I can leave my hex keys in the bag.
Conclusion:
If you don't like the kick of your Ego, it's worth picking up. I don't appreciate it so much during semi-auto, but it's great when ramping. It's relatively inexpensive, which puts it at a solid 10.

Well i got this rammer with my ego used. I tested this out by shooting reballs and regular paint. This gun has zero kick with my cure and cure2 bolt. i was shooting long strings of ramping of like low 20's and had no kick at all. I was surprised. I did a kick at test with paint balancing it with one finger, the gun moved less than a centimeter. I know people complain that it doesnt work, but you have to give it time to break in and orings to sit.
Conclusion:
Good product. can keep ball on ball accuracy without losing aim.

Okay so for 40 dollars, this is the best upgrade you can get on an ego7. this is what the sl74's have. i bought mine and immediately put it on. it comes with the rammer and the rammer cap. i then played that Saturday and my gun was more efficient, had almost no kick, and the gun shot quieter. this upgrade is definitely worth the money.
Conclusion:
For 40 bucks, this is an upgrade ego7 owners wont want to miss out on. if you hate the kick in your ego7, then buy this!
