This is the strightist shooting most accurite barrel on the market. If you want to go out and buy only 1barrel this is the one. You can shoot virtually any brand of paint through it provided it is of reasonable quality and It is not too heavy either. It is als one of the quitest barrels I have ever shot.
Weaknesses:
The G-1 dose not shoot well with broken paint at all in fact if you break a ball you need a spray bottel to clean out all the small porting. It is not the lightest barrel on the market similar to the boomstick. Also seperation of the front and back of the barrel is not as unheard of as it should be.
Conclusion:
I have used 12 to 16 inch barrels on cockers sniper II and angels they are the most accurite thing I have ever used and it is also relitivly simple to anodize it to match your gun. The spacers give it a versility that was unheard of when it first came out and it is the standard for multi bore sized barrels. It is well worth the cost and blows all similar barrels out of the water. The small proting was even corrected on the latest generation and I would reccoment it to anyone willing to spend the money. One of the if not the best barrel out there difinatly outstanding.
This barrel is easily one of the most accurate barrels on the market. i work in a proshop and i have to fix peoples guns all the time which includes firing them to check if it works. i shot the g-1 at a target 25 yards away with team colors paint and hit the target with a grouping of 6 inches. i went out and bought one for my micromag and bushmaster lcd. these barrels are very similar in accuracy and range as a dye boomstick or titanium. it isnt very quiet but then again if you play tournaments they know where you are anyways. range is excellent when shooting out of a low pressure gun and closed bolt guns. and at a price of less than 70 bux, it is well worth the price.
Weaknesses:
the aforementioned about the noise. it isnt really loud but its definately not silent
Conclusion:
Overall it is the best barrel when you consider performance and cost. accuracy is only surpassed by a g-2 or g-3. it is a medium bore barrel and should be used with pmi 32 or diablo paint.
This barrel went on my B2K2 and this barrel rocks. I was using the cheapest paint i could find when I was at practice and not one ball broke out of 4 CASES!!
(using 32 comp paint)
Weaknesses:
NOTHING
Conclusion:
By this barrel i bought the G-2 instead of the G-1 and paid 136.38$ for it and it was worth every penny
fits all the cheap-o paint like brASS eagle and viewloader so its pretty accurate with those kids. its a money saver
Weaknesses:
not much but everytime i shoot it people seem to look at me and point strange objects at me with balls flying at me (its loud as anything)
Conclusion:
its good if yur cheap like you have like no money but id rather get the g3 barrel if you have the money i have a java shutter by the way......... booh-yaah Elcd Frame.........yup.........
