New upgrades from the previous F-4 include a much more
comfortable 45-Grip frame, new wide trigger shoe, and the
trigger pull of only 2.2 lbs.! The gun has no external moving parts
meaning less maintenance and less chance of breakdowns. All
moving parts are hardened or hard anodized for long life. ACI's
new patented valve system is proven to be the most air efficient
in the industry allowing the F4 to operate in all temperature
ranges with over 800 shots off of your 9oz. tank.
Product Availability
The ACI F4 Illustrator is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

This gun is air efficient, easy to maintain, and looks
great.A great marker right out of the box with no upgrades,
even better with a nice cp barrel. Very consistent and well
made.
Weaknesses:
occasional ball chops get to be a pain, because stripping
the gun isn't as easy as a spyder. Thats it though.
Conclusion:
I recommend this gun to any beginner, novice, or expert
player who wants the best gun for their money. Better than
Kingman and PMI which claim to have better markers for the
same price as a F4. HAH.
it only costs 135 despite what the website says, they need
to change that and update the picture, it now comes with a
better barrel too, like the other reviewer said some have
bad sears, but thats easy to fix for free, any new one wont
have that problem though, its a thing of the past, really
recomend this gun to anyone who's looking for a gun under
300$ at 135$ its the best gun out, fully enclosed main body
(no moving parts thus almost no way for it to get dirty),
light weight, **the most co2/hpa efficent gun made**
besides maybe some pumps...
Weaknesses:
used to have bad sears, but thats gone, carful with the
sight rail it can strip kind of easily, dont over tighten,
or better yet, never take it off unless you have to
Conclusion:
if you have under 300 to spend buy it, i wouldnt recomend
the gs, dx, tp, buy stock, then upgrade, youll get a better
gun that way, if you do feel like you need them, which i
doubt
Everything on the gun is good for a stock marker. It has
the best feel of any marker in my opinion. No exposed
moving parts is a plus.
Weaknesses:
Stock barrel on this marker isn't that great but hey what
barrel is? If you got an early '99 version there's a
faulty trigger assembly which ACI will replace, causes the
gun to constantly sputter and needs recocked.
Conclusion:
I recommend this gun to anybody. There's not to many
upgrades but barely any upgrades are needed for the gun.
All you need is a new barrel, regulator, and venturi bolt.
