this is a truly great gun for beginners because it's cheap and comes with everything you need. I went to my local paintball park and used my new stryker cybrid and it worked like a charm, it shot very straight despite all of these reviews saying to get a new barrel and some people thought my gun was cool and said it looked expensive and i was like nope, i got it at walmart, the only con i had about this gun was if you chop and any paint gets in your hopper you will be very likely to blank fire
Conclusion:
If your new to paintball or need a backup marker, don't hesitate to buy this gun because its affordable and good but im taking off one point for the hopper
I first tried it with stock and then changed the hopper to a viewloader force, which did much better.
Recommended Upgrades:
- barrel (you don't want holes in the end)
- hopper (my viewloader force has an 18 bps rate, 9 volt battery power, and it's about $32)
- trigger (you may be able to adjust it. i don't know.)
- anti-chop bolt (the original bolt is plastic and very loud)
Strengths:
Accuracy, looks, light, easy on co2
Weaknesses:
Chops balls, heavy trigger, not very powerful, loud
Review:
This marker might seem terrible at first with the stock hopper, but it's much better after you change it. The stock hopper clogs like crazy and makes you dry fire frequently. A lot of the parts are plastic like the trigger and bolt. The trigger looks nice but you have to pull it too hard to be able to shoot fast. If you have a fast trigger finger, you can only get a halfway decent fire rate at best. The barrel breaks a few balls every now and then. I haven't replaced my barrel yet, but it is my top priority for this marker. Next is changing the bolt, which is insanely loud and made out of plastic. It is pretty accurate and very easy to move around on the other hand. It is very much worth its price once you upgrade a little. The gun itself would only be around 50-60 bucks if it didn't come with all the stuff it did. It's a very good beginner gun IF YOU GET A FEW UPGRADES. You don't need anything too expensive.
Conclusion:
it will definitely be worth your money if you get some upgrades. Make sure you at least get a hopper and barrel. Good for woodsball, and it would be good for speedball if the trigger was easier to pull. You must upgrade the hopper and barrel for sure. Overall, I am pretty happy with this marker and don't plan on selling or returning it in the near future.

Review:
I bought the gun and when i opened it came with a hopper, squegee, barrel plug, mini lube, and a mask i thought it was good at first but then it chopped balls, but it is reliable at times.. I would highly recomment to not get this i am getting ready to return it for a better one..
This gun is horible. It always chops paint, always has to be cleaned, screws fall out, not acrute, its just a very sucky peice of crap. It also leaks air. And you can't use it when it gets cold because it freezes. I always have to sit out of games because i gotta swab it out fix it or field strip it.
Conclusion:
Don't get this gun. Not worth the money, chops too much, and jams
Proto SLG 08, Myth 48/3000 psi, Dye Boomstick barrel, Viewloader Revolution Force hopper
Recommended Upgrades:
NEW GUN!
Strengths:
-Cheap
-Sort of reliable
-Field stripable (You'll need this strength!)
Uhh... um...
Weaknesses:
-Horribly inaccurate
-Chops paint
-Cheaply made
-Barrel is only upgrade
-Loud
-Kicks
-Overpriced
-Ugly
Review:
This has to be the worst paintball gun on the market. It's reliable in the sense that you can air it up and shoot it without any tinkering, but it is NOT durable. It is made out of cheap plastic. This gun might be alright for first time paintballers, but there are MUCH better guns out there.
I would recommend paying a little extra and getting the Azodin Kaos.
Conclusion:
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this. Look elsewhere for your first gun.

Right out of the box
For eighty bucks it comes with a hopper, mask and squeegee. When you pull it out of the box it looks cheap. There is some plastic casing, but a second look reveals that the plastic is not part of the housing, it's just for show.
Firing
The gun is surprisingly accurate. It's not the best I've scene, but it can pick off a 5'' radius from 50' away. The trigger is a little hard to pull but it's not as bad as other reviews make it out to be.
On the field
One may say this gun is pretty decent for the price one will pay to own it. I like the rubber grip on the handlegrip and foregrip, it keeps it stable. It's good on gas so thats a plus. However the gun never was hit so I'm not sure if the plastic shell will break or not.
Cleaning and Maintenance
It's really a simple gunto rip apart, and cleaning is a breeze. It still looks shinny after a couple uses.
Conclusion:
All in all I would rate it an O.K. gun for the beginner or casual player. Don't let the plasic decieve you, it has nothing to do with the housing (if the plastic was to crack, the gun would still work just fine.) If you want a decent gun for the price I would look at this one.

Not a good gun for experienced players, but great for beginners. Pretty accurate, okay for 80 bucks. It is a decent gun over all. It is good for woodsball.Me and a buddy played woodsball and I beat him and his vibe with my cybrid. It is a dependable beginner gun.
Conclusion:
I would buy this gun if I had 80 dollars to spend on a gun, and I was a beginner.
I got this gun as my first and at the time it was the best gun in the world, i was going to use it for the first time that weekend and it had a very hard trigger pull but it was super accurate and very light, i dont remember what size tank i used because it was a rental but it was still awesome, but the dang thing will bread if you drop it, you dont even have to fall on it, that is just about the only turn down.
Conclusion:
i would recommend this to a beginner. it doesnt shoot fast and tdhat is what turns me away. i currently have an ion and that baby will fly! Anyway. good gun
new barrel is a must i recommend any barrel between 14-16", new loader not a must but if you are a fast shooter then a must.
Strengths:
never chops, I shot 2500 paintballs never choped one. accuracy the velocity, efficentcy, weight.
Weaknesses:
The barrel, hopper, hard to find upgrades for this gun, has alot of plastic.
Review:
I went paintballing today at my local paintball place called splatter this gun was outbeating the tippmann 98 custom. because its so much lighter and is easier to pull out a start shooting really quick, when they start shooting at me there shot out. this gun also has alot of power. although it does drop quit a bit after a few matches you will get the hang of it, like knowing how much over them to shoot at any distance, i hit a player throught 5 trees from atleast 60-70 feet away with one shot, i was pretty impressed. this gun should only be used for woodsball!!!
Conclusion:
This gun is very reliable and will get the job done.
I have used this gun as a back for my spyders and it is very reliable. it is accurate and is very powerful. This is a good gun for beginners. This gun is very durable. My friends and i have used this gun in durt and mud and it had no effect. It is very easy to use and my paintball team loves it.
Conclusion:
Good gun. Wouldnt use as my only gun though. Good beginners gun.
