Review:
This vest was amazing! I fell in love with it when i was researching then I bought and it was better then expected. I played a few rounds and got a few bounces off of the back where the abdomen is. I highly recommend this vest for fast and fearless players!
Conclusion:
This vest is the best and the MOLLE is amazing but only one problem was the size for me but it is still an amazing vest
Light, fast, tough, tight, secure, well ventelated, looks awesome
Weaknesses:
Tank pouch stretches the netting of the vest and droops a little,
Review:
I play a lot of woodsball and scenario play and i like to play ghost flanker. Other vests i have used are just too bulky to let you move properly, I crawl a lot when i play and other vests used to get filled with mud and twigs.
So i went for something a little different and got the BT static vest, and christ this thing is awesome. I've only played with it once but it suprised me how versitile it is. This vest sticks to you like glue when running and even though the tank pouch wiggles a lot on my back i know that its not coming off. The molle is very well made and has thick overlayed stitching (i have no idea what to call it). The molle allows you to customize your placement of your pouches to where ever you want and when you stick it on you know its going to stay on.
The vest feels awesome, it spreads the load well and even with 7 full pods on, my big steely tank and a full water bladder it doesn't give me any aches or pains. I have an odd structure as i'm 6 ft 1 and have a 28" waste and i have wide sholders... sorta long a spindley really but with some bulk in there somewhere, anyway i got the small/medium and it fits me perfectly.
My current system: 3+4 pod pack on the far left, tank pouch next to it on the right and and milti pouch on the far right.
One bad note, what the hell is with the tank pouch? its got a huge toung on it that just seems to flap around aimlessly. I know its suposed to prevent your tank from poking you in the back but they should have atleast made the molle strap go further up the toung, just so you can pin it down. Also it cant be mounted horizontal on the vest but that doesn't bug me that much.
Conclusion:
Over all i love this vest and its the best one i have ever had the pleasure of owning, i may find more weaknesses at some point in which case i will edit this and put them up.
Very impressive vest and fits my style perfectly, this is a review of the vest and not the tank pouch so 10/10

Strengths:
COMFORTABLE, Light Weight, Breathable, Excellent MOLLE customization, Wide Range of Adjustment.
Weaknesses:
My Tank Pouch would only mount vertical, The "Dead Man Strap" covers the name plate.
Review:
I decided on the Static Vest for the lighter weight and better ventilation. I ordered the L/XL because I am a tall guy, but since I am pretty skinny, I was hoping it would still be tight enough around the waist.
I am very impressed with the quality of this vest. It's made of multiple layers of mesh material so it will breath very well. Once I got it all adjusted up to my size, I thought it was very comfortable. The waist strap is very secure, and can adjust to a wide variety of sizes. Along with the Vest, I ordered two 2+3 Pod Packs, a Tank Pouch, and a Radio Pouch. All the MOLLE attachments are very securely attached. My Tank Pouch only came with vertical MOLLE straps, which was a bit disappointing since I wanted to attach it horizontally. I have an idea how to rig it up though. The 2+3 Pod Pouches are great. I could possible carry 10 pods of paint.
I ordered a BT Combat Jersey, which seems to be a perfect compliment to the Static Vest. The jersey has padded elbows, shoulders, and in the waist where the vest secures. The jersey may be part of the vests comfort, so I do recommend both.
Conclusion:
Loaded with my standard 24oz CO2 tank, and four 125-round pods of paint, I love the way this vest feels. I'm sure the HRT & Merc Vests are the same great quality.
For the few weaknesses I found, I deduct 1 point. But a great vest.
