Softer than OEM cup seals
Seals very well
lasts longer
Weaknesses:
None
Review:
I purchased a few of these based on teh reviews and the fact they were to be "softer". My cup seal on my TES started leaking, and the replacement cup seals from my spyder did not seal it much better. Perhaps my valve has some inperfections on the edge causing this, but the Lapco cup seal solved the problem!
Conclusion:
I would recommend this as a blow back cup seal replacement. It seals and last better than the rest
Dragun E-1 - Stainless Steel Turbo Valve, Custom Cut X-Barrel no porting 10" , Check-It Products Dragun Full Force Delrin Bolt, Check-It Products Dragun Sweet Spot Trigger Flat, Check-It Products High Volume Cell, CMI R2000 Inline Reg with male / female ASA linked inbetween marker and ACI Sub-Zero 4stg X-Chamber, Lapco Cup Seal, Java High Pressure Coiled Remote, 20oz Pure Energy Co2 Tank, Fed by a VL eVLution hopper. Double Regulated from 775psi bottomline reg, 550psi inline reg.
Strengths:
I had a valve leak once I lowered my Dragun's operating pressure to 550 psi, either there wasn't enough pressure to keep the stock cup seal closed, or it had simply gotten damaged I don't know. But after the installation of Lapco's Spyder Cup Seal into my Dragun the leak was eliminated.
Weaknesses:
None that I can think of, its less then $5.00 so there are no complaints, it does the job it was advertised to do.
Conclusion:
For those using Draguns, Spyders, and other compatible markers, if you find that your marker is leaking from within, and you suspect it may be from the valve, I highly recomend you change the cup seal, I'd go with Lapco's Spyder Cup Seal. It's advertised to eliminate leaking from within, and it does just that. If your gun continues to leak even after you've installed the Lapco cup seal, then you may need to purchase a seal kit that includes valve o-rings and which ever else o-rings you suspect may be leaking. I rate this product as a 10 since it does its job at an extremely affordable price.
Enigma EXR LP Converted
32 Degrees 16 inch Terminator Barrel
32 Degrees Turbo Valve
32 Degrees Valve Pin
Lapco Cup Seal
Java Pressure Gauge
Strengths:
I had a leak in my gun setup after I installed the 32 Degrees Turbo Valve Kit due to the crappy 32 degrees brass cup seal. I couldn't believe they sold such a crappy cup seal with their great turbo valve. Anyway, I bought the Lapco cup seal, which fixed the problem completely.
Good does not begin to describe this product. When i first got my new valve i had some problems with installation in that i didn't know what the hell i was doing. I scratched the thing up bad too. I tried all sorts of cup seals from brass to plastic, from white to black, anything that i could get my hands on i would try but nothing worked. then i finally took the gun to a shop in raleigh and he put a LAPCO cup seal in it and BAM!! just like that THE LEAK WAS GONE! nothing else on the market would stop it but this cup seal did the trick. thanks LAPCO for making such wonderful products such as this. (p.s. LAPCO barrels are pretty awesome too.)
Weaknesses:
they are a bit expensive compared to other cup seals on the market but that extra 4 dollars is money well spent, you will never have another cup seal related leak.
Conclusion:
I think i've said everything, this seal is a must for a spyder or piranha or any gun out there that uses a cup seal for that matter. i couldn't be happier.
I had a leak in my old cup seal. I replaced it with the lapco and the leak went away. I haven't had any problems since.
Weaknesses:
I can't think of anything.
Conclusion:
If your'e leaking gas down the barrel, it could be your cup seal. Just buy a lapco cup seal and problem solved. Since it's such a basic upgrade there's really nothing wrong with it. Don't put up with leaks. Get a lapco.
