When, I saw this at ansgear.com, I couldn't wait to get it. I had read reviews about it, seen it in use, plus, for 17 dollars? I had used a Virtue on my friends, and a War feed, and was not satisfied whit either. The Virtue was five months old, and was getting worn out already. The War Feed was three months old, but was starting to wear out.
After i got the Exalt Speed Feed, I immediately put it on my Halo. It was a tight fit, and a little hare to get on, but I was very satisfied with the look. I tried pulling it off, and it wouldn't, so i went to my local field. Before I went out to play, i filled it up, turned the halo completely upside-down, and only 1-2 balls fell out.
After playing with the walk-ons, sliding, diving, and throwing paint, I came back to the staging area. It never once slid off, and let the paint through with amazing ease, but doesn't let any out. I did not drop a single ball playing two fifteen minute games.
Conclusion:
This is an amazing loader, i have had it for six months and it works fantastic.I would recommend this to anyone, unless you live where there is a lot of rain.It works great, if you are looking for a cheap speed feed, you can't go wrong with the Exalt.
This is a very solid feed to use. It is made of plastic for the part that holds the rubber on but to break it you have to be an idiot because they say to put it on and screw it in hand tight. The rubber part where the balls pass through has not worn down on me at all and the lime colour is also pretty cool. I have used the virtue crown but they wear out fast from my experience and i am very glad i picked up the exalt feedgate.
In my opinion this is the best feedgate on the market, and it is going to last you a lot longer than the virtue crown.
Conclusion:
It is a decent price, and doesn't wear down unlike its competition. Go and buy this.

well to me this speed gate is a great product loads fast and keeps balls in for the most part. Like other speed loaders it does lose a few balls here and there but keeps most in you'll lose 3 to 5 maybe depending on how you play. But thats to be expected just ike with a virtue ultra soft you are going to lose some paint. if you want a speed feed that holds everything you are going to want to go to a more rigid speed feed but for those that like the easy abilty to just pour in paint without really needing to put the pressue on the ring its a great buy for less than the virtue ultra soft.
Conclusion:
Great buy cheaper than other soft speed feeds and does a great job at what its supposed to do well worth the 17 bucks im very happy with it
I read the previous review and had a similar issue but opposite response.
I will say that I am local to EXALT so warranty work was handled in person. But it was directly exchanged without issue. The plastic is just that plastic EXALT or Virtue it will be the weakest part. As comparison I've had to replace my View Loader VLocity Junior, plastic 2 times already and its only 6 months old.
This speed gate loads faster and holds paint better then any speed feed or Crown I've used. I've used both the medium and the soft crowns
This gate holds paint back, maybe dropping one ball, the medium crown can also do this but loads much harder. I found the soft crown loaded well but dropped paint quite easily.
The EXALT is the best of both worlds, loads fast, holds paint back!
Let me just start by saying that i can not personaly compare this speed feed to any others as this is the first i have ever used.
packaging:
nothing special, item is in a tiny zip lock bag with nothing else at all.
construction:
This thing is all plastic except for the rubber "crown" part and the bolt and nut that clamps it down. Being made out of plastic is not really a negative point but it is extremely flimsy and feels very cheap and easy to break. the rubber "crown" part is also not held on very sturdy to the plastic and it seems like it could pop out easily.
installation:
This is only currently available to fit a halo right now (without purchasing an adapter), however i was installing it on a halo and it did not fit as well as i had hoped. If it is pulled up on hard enough, it will pop right off. Here is my major issue with this product, the slot that the nut site in is just molded plastic like the rest of the speedfeed, and it stripped out the first time i went to unscrew it to take it off (it started raining outside so i opted to put the lid back on). So i pretty much have a worthless piece of cheap plastic now. i emailed Exalt directly, however, it was saturday so i have not heard back as of yet.
function:
despit everything negative i have said i tested it and it loads quickly and even if you shake the hopper upside down very hard you only lose a ball or two, so it serves it's purpose assuming all the above things do not cause it to fail, but i wouldnt trust it as a shot directly to it would no doubt cause it to pop off the hopper or even break it.
price:
it retails for $15 which is cheaper than the virtue crown and some others of this type i have found, but i guess you get what you paid for...given the quality of the product i would not expect to pay over $5 for it.
customer support:
i have yet to hear back from their support staff, i will update when information is available
***Edit: i received an email from their customer service department last night stating that i was to blame for the feedgate becoming damaged and that it would not be warranted. through several more emails i expressed my confusion as to how this could be (politely and well mannered) and at one point i was told i was lying to receive a free product (they said they have seen this with some hybrid halo shell issue, i'm not sure what that means) however, i was told there was nothing they could do. This morning i had another email from them stating that if i send them pictures of the feedgate proving it was damaged well being unscrewed as opposed to over tightening, that they would warrant it; how a picture will prove that, i do not know, so i assume i am just out on the cash. Please dont take this as i have an issue and am using this review as a way to bash them, from what i have heard, all their other products are top notch....however the feedgate is sub par in my opinion and any company who automatically goes on the defense and considers their customer base liars and thieves when an issue comes about does not deserve paintball player's hard earned money, especially when there are plenty of other options from plenty of other companies on the market.
Conclusion:
It's cheaper than most speed feeds of it's type, however it is lacking in just about every way imaginable...save your cash and keep your lid or find a better alternative
