Planet Eclipse 2010 GEO+
Automag classic valve and new body
Planet Eclipse sl kits
68/4500 Crossfire
45/4500 CP tank
Recommended Paintballs:
anything...
Strengths:
Sizable bore.
Weaknesses:
not enough sizes? Avaliblity... stand alone sl barrel kit is no longer in production.
Review:
Really great addition to your marker. Planet Eclipe always makes the highest quality stuff. I have one for my ego and my automag. Both shoot darts. Dont leave the barrels screwed together... they tend to stick. If you put a hit of sleek on there it will keep them from sticking. Looks better than my sly I think. the sly comes with one more back than the ego kit but i guess you really dont need it. The only issues are finding these amazing barrels. They are not currently in production.... however there is supposed to be and sl 4 or 5 full barrel kit being released. I will have one. The new kit has a longer control bore with the same overall length and quality that you should expect from planet. I eagerly await this new release... It should look good with my new geo!
Conclusion:
Buy it if you can find it!!!

Freak barrel- performance is comparable, but inserts can be a hassle.
DYE Ultralite- a solid contender.
Marker Setup:
Stock White/Blue Planet Eclipse SL8R, DYE Rotor, DXS 45/3000 N2 tank w/proto tank cover.
Backup marker:
Tippmann X7 w/ Vortex mod, E-grip, 1x30mm Red Dot Scope, 14" Inch DYE Ultralite barrel, G36 folding stock, and vertical grip.
Recommended Paintballs:
just about any. Between the three backs, you can shoot large, medium, or small bore paint with ease (and accuracy).
Strengths:
LIGHT
Accurate
Incredible honing
looks
Weaknesses:
none that I know of.
Review:
I got this barrel kit with my SL8R. The following has been my experience thus far.
Upon getting the gun, i assembled a barrel and held it up for comparison next to a DYE UL. The UL, mind you, has probably one of the best finishes in the industry.
Well, upon inspection, the SL kit seemed to have an even BETTER finish. Apparently, it's possible.
I took it to play at my local field, and in short, as long as you get the right back, this barrel will literally put ball on ball. During a particular game I broke a ball, and didn't notice until I went to clean my gun out at the end of the day. These will shoot through breaks easily, and will self clean within a few shots.
As a last point, they're very versatile and non-picky. I've put everything from seconds to Marbalizers through them and this set up has shot them all like a champ.
More updates to this review as I keep using the kit.
Conclusion:
At present, this kit stands as the best barrel system I've ever used. They're rare, but if you can, get a hold of them. Eclipse makes their barrels hold up to the standards of their markers, which is saying something.

This barrel is outstanding. I was warming up before a game and shot a 5 ball string at about 40 feet. Each ball hit the same spot one on top the other. It was dead on all day. The best part is that i got it new for $70. I don't think that this barrel is worth $200. I have seen it selling for more. If you can get this barrel cheap get it . It has three backs and 2 fronts so u have 6 barrel combos total. It also looks great on a blue g3 and pretty good on a red f7. :-)
Conclusion:
Buy this barrel
