BT-4 ERC, APEX barrel, E-Grip and Rip Clip are stock. nothing special yet.
Recommended Barrels:
Have only used in a PCS 14" smooth bore barrel (cheap) from a Brass Eagle T-Storm, and my new BT-4 ERC.
Strengths:
Bright fill, almost always breaks.
Weaknesses:
Large seem, hit and miss on cases, some shoot straight some dont.
Review:
These are cheap paintballs, they cost $35 a case at the shop I buy them at, for the price, they are the best I have been able to find in the local shops. But I would rather pay $10-$15 more for consistent quality. If you dont have the money to buy the more expensive balls, these are what you probably want to pick up, Im not saying there are not better out there for the price, just not at my local shops.
Conclusion:
These are not the worst balls I have seen, for the price, not bad.
Let me start off by saying that the first shippment of Valken paint I got shot great. All shot straight & broke well. The next shippment on the other hand, just plane blowed!!! Every batch # of every color just would not shoot straight. I'm talking corkscrew! I wasn't aware of the problem til after about 30 cases or so were sold to my customers. I contacted Valken & after about a week of avoiding me, they finally agreed to give me credit on what paint I had left in stock.
The sad thing is, I have over $850.00 worth of paint left & they only gave me a credit of $105.00 & I'm still stuck with paint I can't sell!
Conclusion:
If you're a dealer, don't get burned like I did. If you're a player & you get a bad case of Valken paint, don't blame you're dealer, he probably got screwed also.
Wen tout for a day of paintball and I was really excited to use this paint. I had heard a lot of good things about the paint. I was somewhat disappointed by the results.
First, the paint is very bright and is easy to see from long distances (I play mostly woodsball). It broke on the person everytime, which was fantastic.
However, every 150 balls or so, I would get a barrel break. I was using my barrel kit, and had it sized for 0.691, which 98% of the balls went through perfectly. But a couple of the balls must have been slightly bigger, and then broke in the barrel (I am guessing).
Also, the seams were rather large and caused the paint to not be as accurate as you would think it should be (I thought stinger was more accurate).
Conclusion:
Breaks on target, but might break in your barrel too.
