The Dangerous Power G4 paintball gun has finally arrived and invokes the triumphs and prosperity of Dangerous Powers advanced engineering through its innovations and master craftsmanship. The G-Series is reborn and leaves the competition in its wake.

The Dangerous Power G4 weighs in at 1.79lbs including barrel, RAPS ASA, low-profile clamping feedneck, & battery. The G4 has adapted the Spec-Rs accuracy and efficiency by utilizing the O-ring-less bolt system. The O-ring-less bolt not only improves the G4s performance, but also decreases O-ring wear and tear resulting in less maintenance!

The Dangerous Power G4 demands precision and comfort by adopting the Rev-Is four-way trigger adjustment including the breakaway magnetic trigger. The G4 includes a new, fully engineered, spring-assisted regulator increasing its accuracy and durability. Dangerous Power Engineering has enforced qualities in the G4 to adapt to change and overcome any scenario by implementing a fully programmable micro-switch board for every players preference.

Recommended
Upgrades:
I would only get the Techt engine for the rec ball player. But if you play competive ball or speedball I recommend a good barrel kit and Ape board. Also a do repair kit.
Strengths: Very light and small. Like the low maintance. Trigger is very nice.
Weaknesses: Only thing I would have liked was more accent color options
Review: I have had high end guns and some low end and for me the G4 is a mid priced high end gun. I have played with all the settings and never had one problem. Thanks to the amazing techt engine these g4's in my experience are better then most $1000 guns out. I play with guys that have Luxe,Ego 11,Nxt,Etek3 and all but the luxe are louder. I even was side by side with a stock G4 and it was louder.
I have done little to maintane this gun.
Conclusion: Great gun for the weekend baller.

Kick ass out of the box
Strengths: Light, Fast, accurate, Looks good, fits, smooth operation, Good job DP...
Weaknesses: So far none
Review: Okay, brand new marker. Got it a few days ago. It was packed nicely. The marker looks good. I like the ergonomics, Good job DP. The marker fits; when you bring the marker up to eye level you are looking down the barrel, so you are on target. I aired it up and I heard a hisssss. I rotated the reg fitting and air tube a bit and it stopped. Love the ASA. I loaded up some field paint and tuned the halo on. First thing I noticed was the lack of sound. This thig is quuiet. I ripped off a few in simi (no problems). The trigger was easy to walk and very responsive. The marker operation was Flawless. The bolt did not stick. The marker shot ropes, out of the box. Even with cheap paint I had no breaks and I was on traget. I fired at a 1 inch wide shovel handel at about 20 ft and the marker was dead on. I ran about 1000 balls through the marker with no breaks.
Conclusion: This is a Great maker. I had no bolt stick problems. DP must have fixed that issue. Great marker for the price. Buy it and go out and Win

Review: The dangerous power g4 is a great gun. They kept the gun simple for easy maintenance and it's as fast as any of the guns on the market for double or triple the price. It's got minimal milling and nice accent pieces .and of corse it's cocker threaded so there's a hundred different barrels available .
Conclusion: Great simple fast inexpensive marker. In my opinion the best 300$ you can spend right now on a gun.

Strengths: Raps ASA

Stock Board

Sexy Milling
Weaknesses: Simple "out of box" problems

Review: Out of the many markers which ive owned (below $300 price range), the DP G4 will give you the best bang for your buck. Retailing at $300, you will be tournament ready without a single upgrade. I paid $150 for mine (slightly used), and i will never part with it.

As everyone knows, the G4 will have problems out of the box. For the love of God do not freak out. Many people are driven away from Dangerous Power markers because they hear of such problems and it sickens me, as it degrades DP's reputation.
These problems are not serious, and could be fixed by an 8 year old. Bolt stick is a common problem, but this can be fixed simply by removing the factory lube from the marker, and using your favorite "thinner" lube, such as Dow33. There are other problems such as back cap, and macro line leaks but again, these can be fixed easily.

Once you have your problems fixed, you will love it.
The board has 6 different programming settings, with a tournament lock,
the dump valve bolt system is super easily to maintain and clean,
the trigger has little side to side movement and is very easy to walk,
the feed neck is great, low profile, no tools needed, but was slightly tight for my prophecy,
the milling is down right awesome, while keeping the marker very lightweight,
its efficiency isn't the best, but its no where as bad as the G3,
the Raps ASA speaks for itself... pure awesomeness.
Conclusion: Once the simple out of the box problems are fixed, you will really enjoy using this marker. It has no problems competing with high end markers, and for its price, you will not find a better marker.

Weaknesses: Leaking out the back cap.
Review: As everyone knows, these markers have a problem (out of the box) with the bolt sticking. In order to fix this you will need to change out the internal o-rings and replace the stock oil with a thinner one. "Hatersauce" works great on mine & I had mine fixed the same day I got it. Other than the bolt stick problem I am very impressed with this marker. It is quiet, accurate, and very air efficient. The raps ASA is great and the clamping feedneck is a must have. I would recommend this marker to someone with paintball experience, but not to someone looking for there first marker.
Conclusion: Fix this problem with the back cap you will need to change out the internal o-rings and replace the stock oil with a thinner one. "Hatersauce" works great on mine & I had mine fixed the same day I got it.
