The P/L Z Drop Forward is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

None. This is my first drop forward.
Marker Setup:
ACI F4 Illustrator TP, 16" Smart Parts All American Barrel, Palmer Stabilizer, ACI Venturi Bolt, P/L Drop Forward, VL 200, 9oz CO2 tank
Strengths:
This drop is very light. It looks nice and is really tough. It also moves your tank almost directly under your marker. At least my 9oz fits right under.
I can really get into a tight position with the marker now. I'll have to get a shorter barrel though to make it really compact.
Weaknesses:
The only thing wrong with this is that it did not come with any screws. I had a hard time finding two 10/32 cap head screws but that's it.
Conclusion:
I think this is a really nice drop forward. It's only $20 and looks nice. Watch out if you have a vertical regulator that is adjusted from the bottom, like the palmer on I have. I had to make a custom alan wrench to fit in the small gap between the drop and the bottom of the reg.
Still not a problem just thought I'd mention it.
I have this DF on my Micromag, and it really adds to the compact feel the gun already puts out. This puts my 68/3K nice and forward.
I even added a little mofication. I drilled another hole in line by the other 2 mountig holes, this way, it allows me to move the tank an aditional inch or so back, and I can easily move it forward again with no probs. With this mod, this has the simplicity, and slight adjustabilty to make this a DF for every player.
I play mostly front, and this DF really helps you tuck in tight. For 20 bux, how can you go wrong?
I have the chrome one (smaller one) . It is perfect with a 20oz CO2 but not for nitro. it is a good rec ball gun upgrade, very cheap for what u get
Perfect as advertised
Weaknesses:
nothing really
Conclusion:
good
i got mine for 40 canadian
i would recommend definatly
I bought this drop froward from BBT paintball ($19.99) The good thing about this drop forward is that it is really light! On the end where it connects to the trigger frame, there are the 2 hole straight pattern, and the 2 hole off set pattern for kingman guns. Not an expensive drop forward
Weaknesses:
Other end of the drop forward where your CA adapter connects to, has 2 hole straight pattern. for those of you who have spyders, you'll have to buy a new duckbill (CA adapter)
Conclusion:
It only costs $19.99 so that is a good deal You don't have to pay a arm and a leg for a good drop forward. I highly recomend this to anyone looking for a good drop forward. Especially if you love to play tight. because this will mount your Co2 right under your gun for a nice clean fit.
this drop froward is about 7" forward, and about 2 1/4" down.
Rating:
9 out of 10
