Great, slotted rod, never comes out of time (if my cocker gets outta time it isnt this rod). The rod is threaded and the lockcuffs are very tight
Weaknesses:
Nothing
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a replacement rod, this is easily the best out there, but if u have a sotck, just flatten the end of your rod, you dont need to replace it unless it breaks or unless it isnt threaded
2K1 Vertical Cocker, AKA Tornado Valve, AKA Lightning Bolt, AKA Hammer Kit, AKA Pump Arm, AKA Cocking rod, Palmers Stabilizer Reg, Rock Reg, Quickram, Shocktech Bomb 3-way, Shocktech Timing Rod, Eclipse Hinge Trigger Frame,Total Freak Barrel System, Lapco Drop Forward, Pure Energy 68ci,4500psi Fibre Tank plus other assorted goodies.
Strengths:
Before I changed to a Hinge Trigger I had a Benchmark 45 Frame with AKA internals. The AKA Trigger is a slotted design and the Kapp Flattened Pro Series Timing Rod was the perfect fit. After installation with the Shocktech Bomb 3-way I had a trigger pull of 2.5mm and for a single trigger system this thing rocked.
Weaknesses:
Nothing
Conclusion:
For a Timing Rod made for a slotted trigger this thing was a dream come true.I now have an Eclipse hinge on my Cocker to see how it works, but the jury is still out and I have kept my 45 frame just in case. For anyone with a slotted trigger this timing rod with the stock 3-way or an aftermarket one will definitely give you a shorter trigger pull,How short will depend on your 3-way, but for the application this Timing rod was intended I would highly recommend this product.
