A beavertail unlike any other, our f/x beavertail adds a new flare to anyone's gun. Available in 6 vibrant finishes (chrome, black, red, green, blue, purple), and features a laser engraved "K" on the end.
The KAPP Fx Beaver Tail is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.
cocker with the following
dye ss barrel
palmer front reg
dye trigger frame
lightend trigger springs
kapp cocking rod
kapp fx beavertail
pmi 88/4500 tank
looks good (i have chrome one)
stops the cocking rod from hitting me in the mask
if hit itll turn (it doesnt stay screwed to the gun nice and tight)
the rod has to be lock tighted to the part that screws to the gun so it dont move (not too big of a deal)
if you have 20bucks and wanna make your gun look nice get this (personally i thought 20bucks was a little to much for thing considering how small it is and what it probably costs to make but it was worth getting
Good finish and machined nicey. Pretty strong so far, unlike the flat beaver tails that I keep bending.
Not much since it doesn't do anything other than being required by tourny, not scratch your lens.
I have an older 'Lollipop' Beaver tail that had a set screw along with the mounting screw. I lightly tapped a small indent where the set screw touches so that it keeps the tail in straight. I rather like this design better than the FX version.
It looks a lot better than the stock bever tail. If you are a newbie, it will help avoid breaking lenses from the back block hitting you in the face.
It shifts a little and it is really expensive considering the amount of materials used and the small purpose it serves.
I think that if you have a little extra money to burn and you are putting the finishing touches on your Autococker then this is the thing to get. It doesn't do a thing for performance, but it will set you apart from the crowd
looks good. what else can I say, it's just a beaver tail.
I have a 96 cocker and KAPP didn't include a screw that was long enough to make the product fit. also, it tends to swivel if you bump it, because there is no set screw, or something to keep it straight.
Looks - I give it an 8
Functionality- it gets a 4
