The Vision Eye is the latest breakthrough from the innovators at Smart Parts! The "eye" senses when there is a ball FULLY in the chamber. If the ball is in place, the eye allows the gun to fire. If any part of the ball is not in place, the gun will not fire until the ball falls. This, along with the low operating pressure of the Impulse, practically eliminates all chopped balls. Fire 20 balls a second with confidence with the new Vision Eye!
Product Availability
The Smart Parts Impulse Vision is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Strengths: Awesome ROF
Super hard to break balls i shot around 9 cases of paint thru mine already and not one ball broke.
I like almost everything about this gun!
Weaknesses: Trigger is a little sloppy but a trigger job will fix that right up
Trigger isn't adjustable or at least i haven't figured it out yet but i think it's not adjustable but no rpobs there the feather pull trigger makes up for that.
Efficiency is not bad i can get 800-900 shots off of my 68 ci 3K psi tank
Conclusion: Get this Marker it is well worth the moneyDustin doesn't know what he's talking about if it froze on you then don't use CO2 dork buy a HPA tank.
and it's vertical feed not power feed man i can tell you never had your hands on one of these baby's!!!!!

Strengths: This thing is mighty nice, I purchased it for $600 new and boy is it worth the money!
I havent had one chop, if adjusted right this thing will NEVER chop any paint.
IT also can shoot at insane rates of fire (with the proper loader I recommend 12votl rev or better).
With the right paint/barrel match this gun shoots great.
Weaknesses: Hmmmm... minor things... like a few body imperfections (few hardly noticeable things like the vision jewel a little off-place).
Not the greatest efficiency wise.
Conclusion: This thing is absolutely great, exspecially for a tourney player who gets into wierd positions while shooting.

I would highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for a high-performance gun.

It may not be as light as an angel, or as good-looking, but it will have no problem keeping up with one.

Strengths: This marker is quiet with the All American barrel (can't wait to hear it with a Boomstick).
This marker does NOT break paint, it just doesn't. The low pressure operation combined with the Vision eye is just sweet.
Gas hog on HPA, not bad with CO2.
Very, very accurate.
Weaknesses: A trigger job would be nice (if anyone knows where I can get a mod to make it fire from hitting the trigger SIDEWAYS, please tell me).
"It's a bit heavy" is what I hear from the Sallies that are used to a cheap Spyder with a 9 oz CO2 tank, but I think it's fine.
Owner's manual could be better. When you order the Vision, they send you a manual for a normal Vision/Vision Turbo and then you get a piece of paper on the side describing the Vision eye.
Wanted the Satin Silver one with a Stainless Steel Boomstick, but it would have been an extra 4-6 weeks to order.
Conclusion: This is a sweet marker. For NEVER breaking a ball and the accuracy, it's well worth the money. This is as good as ANY semi-automatic marker out there. People who need fully automatic markers are panzees (and most good tournaments are doing away with turbo and fully automatic settings on markers anyway). I upgraded to a 14" All American barrel, so I don't know exactly how much better it plays than the stock 12" Progressive.
I would suggest getting the Max Flow 3000 system and drop forward and gadget grip with it. It allows you to use co2 OR HPA with the SAME TANK. Very sweet for those times when you can't get a good HPA fill. (I find that it works great with the co2 anyway). Once this marker is tuned, you really don't have to mess with it anymore.
That post about adjusting the dwell each time is bullsh*t. Obviously the dude didn't take the time to adjust it right in the first place.

Strengths: 1. Very light
2. Accurate
3. Very fast
4. When paintbroken in the BARREL shoots clean with AA rifed
5. You dont always haveto use the EYE to play
6. trigger is not as sloopy as the old ones
7. Real easy to take apart
Weaknesses: 1. You have to set the dwell ALMOST everytime you play.
2. It is a gas hog but not as bad as a shocker.
3. Barrels good but upgrade to AA rifled Or Freak
4. Might want to upgrade to a better trigger job ...eclipes or rip
5 if you dont have a gadge grip get one

Conclusion: Concluson is every gun will have its up and downs. This gun rocks. I recamend getting the ultmate packag with the upgaded barrle gadget grip and max flow tank.
