Conclusion:
Buy This if you can't afford a full freak system.

a bigger bore paint
Strengths:

-looks nice
Well I bought this barrel to replace the stock barrel I had on my e99. The first thing I noticed was that the barrel was about 50% quieter than my original barrel and the groupings were a lot tighter. It made my spyder become much more accurate, and looked pimp. I can say it is quieter and more accurate than the JJ since we tested both these barrels at the same time in a number of tests and we found that the Freak jr. was a lot better barrel. The best part about the freak jr. is that you are basically getting a true freak for a lot less money. The only drawback to this is that you can only get it in black, 14in tip and one insert that is very big bore, but u can easily buy other freak tips and inserts to fix this. The barrel was pretty accurate with large bore paint since it was less affected by the bigger bore tip. When shooting small paint, the tip bore is so big it does almost nothing, and is like shooting a 4 inch barrel. The barrel is fairly good but I personally hate the inserts since they are the most vital part in this barrel and they are made the cheapest! Their homing is not as good as a true solid back, and you can wreck them very easily. I found that the freak has many great fundamentals with the paint to bore match, but the inserts just runes the barrel since they can be in miss-alignment and also can cause many paint breaks. I would have to say that I will never buy the freak for my cocker since I was not that impressed by the freak jr, it was a good barrel, but still I found it to be not on the same level as my kaner barrel. I would say it is a ok barrel but there are many others on the market that fix many of this barrels flaws.
BTW smartparts uses many marketing hypes to sell their stuff to you, don’t listen to their spiral porting BS, their barrels are way over ported.
Conclusion:
Well as i said before, it is a alright barrel, it gets the job done well, but if you are going to spend the money I would suggest another barrel system such as a pipe, or kaner. I would give this barrel a 7.5, but i had to pick 7 since there are other barrels for the same price that are better

I used my stock barrel before this, but with this barrel there is a very noticable difference.
Marker Setup:
spyder e-99, 14" freak jr., halo TSA loader
Strengths:
accuracy
you can buy inserts
pretty quiet
doesn't chop
Weaknesses:
none
Review:
The best thing about this barrel is it's accuracy, i noticed the difference immediately. It is a huge difference if you were previously using a stock barrel and you will notice the difference right away(just as I did). I also like the fact that you can buy many different size inserts for whatever kind of paint you are using, since all paintballs aren't the same size. Its fairly quiet too, nothing dramatic, but its not as loud as alot of other barrels. It looks pretty cool also, which is always good. It almost NEVER chops either.
Conclusion:
I definitely think I got my money's worth for this, it is a great barrel and is perfect for intermediate players. I am very happy with it and if you buy it you will be very happy, too.

I have had this barrel for about two years now and have never broken a ball in the summer. I have only broken about 2 balls when the temperature is under 30 degrees. The barrel is also very accurate and it stays that way all year round. Also when you put it on your gun it looks very nice. It is a high quality barrel and I would recommend it for the serious paintball player.
Conclusion:
This is a nice upgrade for any gun. I would recommend this to any player in the market for a new barrel. It is made with the highest quality.

Quiet Riot - not bad, but no where near as good
All American - about as accurate, but not as customizable
Stock barrel - blah
Marker Setup:
Piranha E-Frorce GTI
Freak Jr. w/ 14 inch AA front
eVLution II
32 Degrees Flame drop forward
9 & 20 oz CO2 tanks
Recommended Paintballs:
Any paint, but with the standard .693 insert, i'd go with big balls or premiums. they fit pretty well
Strengths:
Very accurate
Customizable
I think it looks cool
Cheap ($60 at ActionFANATICS)
Weaknesses:
None really, except it's only available in black to start
Review:
This was the first upgrade for my first gun. A touching moment.
Anyway, I bought this over at ActionFANATICS in Pittsburgh, for the low low price of $60. I was expecting $70, and even that would be a good price.
The barrel comes with three pieces: the back, the front, and the insert. Inserts are really cool, because you can get all different sizes for all kinds of balls. You can get a Freak (Tear Drop) or All American front to replace the current.
The barrel performs well. Very accurate. I shot at a tree from about 80 feet away, fired one shot without a hopper, put in another ball, aimed again, and got about 2 inches away from the last hit. Not bad, since I'm using CO2 and not compressed air. I hit the tree i was aiming at every time, even when i was shooting kind of fast with my hopper. I haven't shot very much out of the barrel yet, but so far no breaks. My old barrel was a piece of crap, I had so many breaks with that.
Conclusion:
Definately a good barrel, especially for the price. Very accurate and excellent shot grouping. Recommended for anyone who doesn't want to spend $100 for a new barrel

e99 with freak jr back & teardrop front. Halo b with rip drive & pure energy 45ci 4500 nitro bottle.
Recommended Paintballs:
doesn't matter, b/c you can match any paint if you buy the insert kit.
Strengths:
Extremely accurate, decent priced ( $150 for barrel & all inserts with case)
Weaknesses:
none
Review:
i wasted my time and money on other barrels, but that all changed. I purchased the freak jr kit and fell in love with it instantly. I have sold all of my other barrels and purchased a teardrop front to help improve the already pimped out look. This barrel can be adapted to any paint b/c of the different insert size and is extremely accurate. 99 out of every 100 shots falls within a 2 foot circle at 60 yards and the long range ability is exceptional as well. This is without a doubt the best upgrade anyone could want or buy. once you get over the price, you will realize that you won't go to other barrels. Not only that, it started the new trend of adjustable bore size barrels that are flooding the market now. Go buy one with either the insert that matches the paint that you play most or the entire kit. You won't be disappointed.
Conclusion:
Go and buy one, you are hindering your paintball experience without a freak. If you have a spyder or tippman, save money and buy the jr.

Marker Setup:
Orracle, egg, 68 3000 crosfire tank
Recommended Paintballs:
Draxus, Zap, Evil, marbs.
Strengths:
Pretty accurate
Weaknesses:
Has a 693. bore size.
think it should be cheaper.
Review:
Accuracy- The accuarcy is the best for itas price. It cant compete with other barrels. Dye boomstick, Evil pipe, freak and Kaner.
Weight- I didnt notice it be heavy or light.
Price- I think it should be cheaper considering in my opion its not as good as the all american which is only 10$ more.
Bore size- The give you a horrible bore size 693. which is amost impossible to find paint to match it. Sence matching paint to your bore size determens alot of accuarcy
that is a big minus.
Ball breakage-This barrel dose ont like cheap paint. When walking your trigger with a thin coated paintballes you will make paintball soup. Botmom line is if you get this barrel get good paint.
Conclusion:
My final recomend attion is get this if you need to get a good barrel fast.
